Always enjoy walking our dogs here. The peaceful beauty of the land is like eye candy, especially in the Fall and Spring seasons. Be careful once weather starts warming up as snakes will be up and about. It would be wise to keep your dog on a leash during warmer times. We sure appreciate having this area to use, but it would REALLY help if park management could scrape a few of the main trails as they are very uneven... Making it tricky to navigate for us humans LOL, not our dogs.

Great spot for an easy stroll through a wide open space. Pretty flat with lots of smaller path options aside from the main trail. It's a hidden gem nestled in an Alpine neighborhood.

Beautiful, open space. We didnโ€™t make it too far down the trail as we got there just before sunset but it was a nice walk with the pup and family time. Will be back soon!

Wrightโ€™s Field in Alpine California is. 230 acre nature reserve. It has approximately 26 trails that cross back and forth through the reserve that are used for hiking, dog walking, trail running, and mountain ๐Ÿ” biking. Not really a destination to visit but great for locals to run and walk their dogs ๐Ÿ•.

Itโ€™s very barren, but there are a few people so you feel kind of safe, but itโ€™s also kind of lonely sometimes and it gets scary when I see these giant paw prints

Beautiful place to go for a hike. Its an open field with fairly flat ground. An easy trail you can walk on for 20 minutes or 3 hours. I personally prefer it at sunset.

We went to Wright's Field to take family pictures with a professional photographer. The terrain was great and there are all kinds of different backdrops for great photo opportunities. The photos turned out great and we have received a lot of wonderful comments on them and several people wanting to know the location of the photo shoot. Wright's Field is also well known by the locals for walking, hiking, biking and various other activities. I really like the versatility of the area and would recommend it for anyone looking for a place to do family photos.
