A family member of mine lived at 15 Vineyard for many years, where the apartments and building were initially well-maintained, but significantly deteriorated under new management, resulting in a roach infestation that required state intervention and issues with the heating and air conditioning systems that left elderly residents uncomfortable; however, if these issues are addressed, the building could be considered 4-star due to its nice structure and spacious apartments.

Women’s Development Corporation has a commendable mission to support women’s empowerment, and their community outreach programs provide valuable resources to many. However, I encountered challenges with the organization’s responsiveness, as emails and calls frequently went unanswered, and there appeared to be a lack of follow-up on important matters. While the process initially showed promise, the subsequent lack of communication was disappointing. This experience left me feeling frustrated and disheartened. I believe there is a need for greater consistency and professionalism in client interactions to fully realize the organization’s potential.

Horrible. Do not move in any property of theirs if you have a kid!!! The apartments that they own on broad street are infested with MICE, there are no screens on the windows, locks are not safe, splinters are literally poking out of almost every tentants floor, they have no on call maintenance service, there are holes in the walls from the outside in NOT covered…. The list goes on. They have mold growing in wall unit AC’s, they have AC units leaking apartment to apartment meaning almost everybody’s ceilings are LEAKING!!! They have a fly & red ant infestation…. GROSS AND UNSAFE!!!

My sister applied to the Pineview apartments in Exeter apparently run through this org. She received a letter in the mail about being next on the list for consideration. Of course she was excited about this housing opportunity for her and my nephew, but the letter was marked 12/13 and the letter stated she needed to answer the letter within 5 days. She didn't get the letter in the mail until 12/16. She doesn't get home until 6pm so she emailed them Friday night about the situation and called several times the following Monday morning. The number listed doesn't seem to go anywhere, no reply to the email and she can't get a hold on anyone for Pineview or this org. Now she'll lose out on this opportunity. Horrible people.

My mother had been living there for over three + decades. When it comes to repairs to the apartment, it would mostly come out of pocket because it would take years before the owner would adhere to her request. The property manager is extremely rude and disrespectful. From my understanding, the health department restricts all eviction due to the pandemic, which makes my mother a high-risk candidate and she has underlying conditions that would would put my mother at a life and death predicament. The attempt to evict an disabled elderly person during a global health crisis is unconscionable. There are more tenants who are afraid to speak because of the fact they think they can be put out to the streets. Something needs to be DONE
