Not a bad location buttt;
The price of living is insane.
Had a hole in my ceiling for almost a year and waited on a wait list and it’s still probably not fixed.
I had mice eat through my dry wall so if you want more pets there you go.
I feel bad if something breaks because it’ll never get fixed.
The blinds are as soft as paper and breaks with the wind.
The blind holder was falling off the wall and they said they would fix it. Never did.
There is 1 washer and dryer for a whole building with 4 rooms on each floor and keep in mind there is 3 floors. So Goodluck having clean laundry.
The dog park is a square patch of turf. You cant even walk in there without stepping in dog waste.
Overall, terrible.
Too expensive. Poor appliances. Poor maintenance staff. Property manager is money hungry. I would honestly rather live under a bridge.

Do not look here to live.

This place is a complete scam. Met with the leasing office twice along with a trusted coworker per reference. Took a quote upon returning had everything ready and set for leasing, except they failed to mention that they had raised the rent. The employee took responsibility, but refused to give me my money back that I put towards the originals price deposit ! Unprofessional and inconvenient especially in this economy when people are just trying to survive.

Hello!
After having fears of leaving my home state of New York, I was comeplelty drawn into Willowbrook apartments. My husband and I were searching high and low for a new place. Willowbrook apartments was a what I call “a wing and a prayer”. I called, defeated, tired of searching & feeling a little hopeless.
After explaining everything to Brittnay and Teresa, they had us come in and tour immediately.
Upon getting approved for our apartment, Brittnay and Teresa were there every step of the way. Extremely helpful and guiding us the entire process.
When entering our new home, it was clean, freshly painted & looking brand new.
I’ve met the property manager, Dimitri & he was extremely nice & informative. Even when asked silly questions about the laundry room.
The maintenance staff & manager Josè have been nothing but accommodating to my husband and I as we ask questions like “is this supposed to do this?”
For two people who never thought about leaving their home state, I was so happy to have fallen into the leasing office at Willowbrook.
We can’t thank you guys enough for our new home.

I can’t believe I spent 6 years of my life living here. First of all, we almost got kicked out for having 2 pet birds. Second of all, the manager is so unbelievably rude.Third of all, the rat infestation is out of this world!!.And last but definitely not least, we got evicted and WOULD NOT TELL US THE REASON. Totally don’t recommend.

Pros: Good community, great location (highways and shops), spacious apartments, nice staff, good amenities (pool, gym etc.), fast responses to maintenance issues.

Cons: no parking (even though you pay for parking), rats and raccoons on grounds, mice in apartments, expensive electric bill due to AC being electric ($140 a month in the summer; $80-$90 in the winter), shared laundry and expensive; cheaper to go to the laundromat lol

*they also charge somewhat ridiculous prices for things against your security deposit like $150 if you dont vacuum or don’t clean out the fridge before leaving. Seems like they go after that security deposit so just be careful. Each hole in the wall is $50 plus another $75 to repaint it after…

Overall: Happy and worth it.

The property manager is very rude, he is not friendly at all, he treats the tenants horribly and has a very bad attitude. I believe that where you pay your money to live, they give you good treatment, which there is none. Also my bathroom has been leaking water for months, and when I called Maintenance they never answered, I had to go to the office to report it and when they came to fix the problem they just put a small layer of plaster on it and they just left and my bathroom continues until then liquidating I am very disappointed..👎👎

Lived here from September 2020 to September 2021. Nothing bad to say about this complex. It was interesting to apply and get in, as it was the start of the pandemic. But the staff were friendly and maintenance when needed (rarely) was prompt and helpful. This place isn't overly glamorous but it's a great location near Garden City with quick access to the highway. We moved out (and to another Picerne property) because we were expecting and needed an additional bedroom, which Willowbrook did not have at the time. Would recommend this place.

I moved into Willowbrook this past May and so far it has been a great experience, as this is my first apartment. Everyone I have dealt with from office staff to maintenance has been very nice, professional and accommodating. As for the complex, it is always very clean and quite. I would recommend living here at Willowbrook to anyone.
