for market price, these apartments are extremely cheaply put together. mold fills every crevice you will eventually uncover from the construction slowly falling apart. cabinets don’t fit together properly, the sharp end of nails jut out of the 2 shelved storage closets near the bottom, a danger for anyone’s less specially aware animals. there’s cracks in the floors where they meet the doors, meaning there’s always bugs coming out and into the apartments. no matter how many holes I plug, bug traps I put out, there’s always mosquitoes and roaches getting into my apartment. there’s also no built in coaxial cables and it has to be manually installed by your internet company, which is just a headache if you get Hargray.

that said, the property manager Denise is very charismatic and appears to care a whole lot about the property and it’s tenants. but the company that owns this place has her stretched thin between many properties, and things frequently fall between the literal and metaphorical cracks. it’s not her fault, as frustrating as it can be to get in a matinence request, you’re better off chasing down the matinence man Gilbert to get your requests in. that said, matinence will sometimes just come into your apartment after you put in a request without warning; unlocking your door and entering your apartment while you’re sleeping (or showering in one case). sure, if you’re a man it’s less worrying, but as a single female living alone… it has severely affected my feeling of safety, even though I now have a stick I block the door with.

if it’s all you can afford, I recommend it. it’s better than camden way or colerain oaks; feels safer than most apartments I’ve stayed in. but if you can afford better, I recommend saving yourself the heartache.

Most attentive and respectful property manager I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. Very polite and welcoming. Maintenance is on top of things. Work orders are handled professionally and concisely. Apartment was clean when we moved in and well taken care of. The convenience of the community laundry room is nice for those who rent studio apartments and don’t have washer/dryer hookups. Ms. Denise is so very accommodating and understanding of people and how life hits you hard and is willing to work with you within reason. She’s also extremely involved with the community of this place but also leaves people be should they desire a more private living situation. All in all, this place has so much to offer for all walks of life and I highly recommend it for a safe and cozy home.

I've lived here for 5 years and I love how peaceful and safe this complex is. Everyone who lives here is polite and tends to keep to themselves. I also love the convenient location. The property manager is very kind and helpful. She always takes care of my requests in a timely manner. Their maintenance staff does a great job taking care of repairs.

Very pretty, clean renovated apartments. You can tell that they are kept very well and that management and maintenance, Genuinely care about the tenants. I’ve been living here for about six months now and anytime I’ve had even the smallest issue maintenance has been at my door within half an hour, they always let you know when they’re entering your apartment and they are leaving after fixing Things. They have mandatory pest control regularly and I’ve never had an issue with bugs in my unit. The groundskeepers doing an excellent job as well. Now the biggest and best part of the entire complex is our incredible apartment manager Denise she can be found in the office working hard and when she isn’t in the office she is meeting with the community and finding new ways to make life more comfortable for the residents living in the complex.

I lived at Willow for half a year before a job transfer required me to move. There are so many great things about this property! The apartments are clean and well maintained. The location is incredible, with everything you could want within a few minute drive. What I will miss most about Willow, is the vibe. Its quiet, peaceful and neighbors are polite, caring and respectful. Its a safe area which is important when wanting to do the things we all enjoy like bike riding/walking, etc. Management's open door policy encourages communication which is imperative to a strong community! I really loved the tranquil spot Willow carved out in Camden and will miss it!

Clean, affordable housing with accessible accommodations for the disabled and elderly. Very affordable with water and trash included in the rent, allows pets for a fee (which they can help with and will be flexible about) great place if you’re a young couple or simply want a quiet area to enjoy.
