Extremely disappointing experience with this management company. We live in one of the ViveLA apartments under Westhome property management. We have been reliable, respectful tenants for years, and our lease was based on a clear agreement—including the use of a tandem parking space that accommodates two vehicles. Suddenly, without justification and in the middle of our lease term, they issued a new “policy” limiting us to one car, threatening to tow the other.

This change was not only unfair and unnegotiated—it’s also impractical and dangerous. There’s no safe or accessible street parking in our area (near Hollywood and next to a school with strict rules), and in Los Angeles, two working adults simply cannot function without reliable access to vehicles.

This feels like a deliberate attempt to force us out. We tried everything to communicate with apartment management team, but they undermined our legal agreement, continue threaten us to tow our car, and refuse to offer any alternative solution. We have filed formal complaints with the LA Housing Department, the Attorney General, and the Department of Consumer and Business Affairs regarding what we believe may be a case of constructive eviction and bad faith conduct.

If you value stability, fairness, and honesty in your housing provider, I urge you to think twice before renting from this company.
