This used to be a quiet complex for many years, but when the new property managers were hired everything stated going down hill real fast!! Their tenant noise policy is a straight up joke, to say the least. For example. They don't care how loud a tenant makes noise. Regardless of what type of noise it is to them It is allowed up until 10 PM! No respect or consideration for the current tenants that have been here, such as myself for decades. It's all about the money I guess? I'm very disturbed by the " put up and shut up attitude " by this new property managers. I feel terrible that my out of town. guests had to experience all the lack of common sense disrespectful noise before and after hours. Just look at the review ratings. They were like that when I moved to this complex 15 years ago!

I rented an apartment for a year, there were issues, but they were resolved quickly enough. For example, the refrigerator broke and they replaced it with a new one in 2 days. I had no problems with moving out and returning the deposit, they returned all the money in full

If I could rate zero stars, I would. Western Management is an elitist property management company. When applying for one of their (very overpriced) units, I was contacted by the Assistant Property Manager, Cecilia Mendoza. Cecilia was not very kind and quite judgmental when it came to my bank statements. During the month of December, I did not have my job but immediately got a job in January. With my new job, I made basically 3x the rent alone (not including my partner's income), but Cecilia kept pushing questions on why my checking balance was so low. Although I didn't appreciate expressing my tight financial situation from the past as a Black working class person, I continued to answer all of her intrusive questions and provided an offer letter and employment of verification as she requested, plus numerous pay stubs from my new job. She was very condescending on the phone and could not grasp why I didn't have in any money in December, which was none of her business. Days later, I reached out to Cecilia to ask for an update on the application. She did not get back to me and still has not given me a proper rejection letter. This has truly frustrated me, as I was encouraged by the Property Manager, Nesanet, to spend $90 in total on the application, just for them to pocket the money and never get back to me. Not to mention, they were charging 6425 Telegraph Ave Apt #9 as 1 bedroom, when it is definitely a studio. It's a scam. What Western Management Properties is doing is not in good faith and they should be ashamed of themselves. I am so glad I dodged this company and hope no one will go through such a traumatic experience. What a joke.

Don’t rent your home from these losers. Nothing is up to code. I’ve heard complaints from pretty much all of the residents, including ex-renters. Some ex-tenants told us that their property used to be rent controlled, but the greedy slumlord took everyone to court and now it’s not. That tells you everything you need to know about these people.

Western Management are slum lords. I live next door to a building they manage and I have literally been calling and emailing them for YEARS to try to get them to have someone take the dumpster in and out on time. When it is left out it becomes a fountain of trash causing the block to be blighted. It is not that hard - all the other apartments in the neighborhood can do it. Christyann is nice on the phone, but will never solve the actual problem. Larry is the owner - he is quite rude. They don't respond to emails because they don't want a paper trail showing how badly they are doing at their jobs. If you are a tenant, I'm sorry. If you are a landlord, find someone else.

In response to the owner's reply below... Perhaps you can also address the three (very respectful and professional) emails you ignored over the last few months asking you to solve this problem. Yes, I did call the main line three times yesterday to be a squeaky wheel, which is apparently the only way to get you to do anything. I called your direct line many times because I suspected you were avoiding having to acknowledge your failures. Turns out I was correct. Thank you for calling the trash company to address the problem this week. Based on the last 18 months of incompetence, I'm doubtful you will follow up to make sure services continue to be provided.

Not a good place to rent from they take your money and not rent to u mind u I have a voucher and any landlord wants tent with voucher but they refuse my voucher never a recommendation

I have lived in a property managed by Western Management for over 20 years and they are horrible! From day one and many managers they were slumlords! Finally the owners son changed companies and it should have been done many years ago! They even made me pay 1/2 for a garage door. Leslie was the worst. They did nothing to upkeep the property.
