The reason why I will 2 star this is because upon renting I was never able to see my home from the inside. I received a layout and had to deposit my money. The home I originally wanted to rent was worth high 1,500 a month. The occupants decided to not move which caused West Chatham to give me a house with the same price. One year later the property increased 300 dollars, because of “inflation”. They increased $100+ every year after that as well. When I explained that would be hard on me, they said that’s what the value of the property is. Thank goodness for food banks huh…
Property value increased like there was never a homicide around there. Property manager was nice though.

I just want to say how thankful I am for Ms. Caterina and West Chatham management! Since I have moved I have had a couple of issues happen but the team was here within 24 hrs to help ! The neighborhood is welcoming and to have a good company to relay on makes it even better ! The process was easy and quick so if you are looking for a reasonably priced home(2024 prices)in the Port Wentworth area give WCM a try. They will not disappoint!

I wouldn't. They were a great, affordable place our first year. Then the property changed hands and they raised the rent by a third or so. Okay, sucks, but it was still cheaper than everywhere else. It's been 9-10 months and we've just received notice to leave within 60 days. No complaints, never been contacted by management about anything. I'm only left to assume they feel having new deposits and higher monthly rent is better than taking the same rent they've been taking.

So yeah, I'd live elsewhere unless you want to move on short notice because they would like more rent. That's a giant inconvenience.

PS. No, there is absolutely nothing you at West Chatham Management can do to change the nature of this review, however, it will be updated to include any difficulties or issues you may create in the move-out process.

UPDATE: It seems once you're expected to be out soon, maintenance is optional! I reached out about our AC not working yesterday afternoon. It's nearly the hottest part of the day, and we still have no AC. Our AC has been a constant issue in this unit, but they have always come to fix it immediately because this is Georgia Summer and people could literally die. Unfortunately, they don't seem to feel obligated now that they've asked us to leave.

I recently just left my residence with West Chatham Management, and I can most definitely say it was very peaceful and quiet. I never had any major issues while residing at The Cove. Most of my communication was with Caterina Pagano, and she is amazingly sweet. If I were to move back to Savannah, without a doubt; I would choose them again. Thank you to everyone at the West Chatham Management for making my stay as comfortable as possible. 🙂
