After reading so many positive reviews, I never thought I would have to write a negative one. WE Mortgage engaged our firm to complete two VA appraisal assignments. After months and months of attempting to receive payment, we STILL have not been paid. If a mortgage company can't pay for an appraisal the consumer already paid for, STEER CLEAR! Ethics and fiscal responsibility matters. Do not use this mortgage company.

First off, what an amazing service! Refinancing can be daunting as there is a lot of unknowns that I present themselves. Alex with WeMortgage was amazing! He took over our loan and not only did he save us close to $10k, he was able to close it in 8 days!!! Alex and his team handled our VA home loan. They failed to provide oversight of the process and missed our closing date as a result. Our builder had not provided five documents needed for the loan and even though the team had sent them emails requesting them, nobody bothered to pick up a phone and have them send those. They also didn't let us know (or our realtor) and we found out the day before closing. Moving the closing date one day wasted an entire day while we called storage units, movers, internet installs, furniture deliveries, etc. to change the dates. Their team never took accountability; blaming the builder, underwriting, etc instead. On closing day, we wasted the entire morning waiting for a time to go to the title company to sign. That didn't come until 3:30pm and despite driving across town and waiting for 2 hours, their team couldn't manage to get the paperwork to yhe title person, embarrassing them exile we sat in a room with nothing to sign. They weren't able to complete the process until 8pm. That then made the title person get up at 6am and drive all the way in to our place to sign in the early morning so that it would record by the end of the day (and end of month). We never got an apology (nor did the title person) until after our realtor told them that during a call in which she reiterated how dissatisfied she was with this closing. Indeed, neither the title person, our realtor or us as clients had ever seen such a bungled closing. I would never do business with them again and I would warn future clients that while you may have a great experience, if anything doesn't go well, this company will not take accountability for their own actions.

Stay away from this company, just a slick bait and switch operation. My first rep Jane "left" the company, then her husband took over. He was fired for fraud a month after my loan closed, obviously the terms were not what he said. Alex, the owner, calls to hear your story, gets all the info. Ok this part is brilliant, then he calls back on a recorded line and says completely different info.
This is a well polished, efficient fraud machine
