I have written 2 deals with VMG so far and have 1 in the pipeline and another on the way. The first client I could not get finance for ANYWHERE and I am accredited with 50 mortgage lenders. They had variable income as they worked in the circus and entertainment industry doing events and seasonal work and although they earned around the same each year COVID also played a part of the issue. Other banks appetites for anything outside the box is just non-existent. The second client had some small credit issues from 5 years ago that weren't yet cleared from their report and they were in a high interest rent to buy scheme. Again hard to place without a crazy rate. Both of these clients were placed with rates of 3% or less. Next client looking for quick AIP received it and with a higher lending capacity then all other banks we tried. Rate 2.85%. New client coming is a PAYG contract lecturer who doesn't get her next contracts until start of each term and works for multiple Universities. Was affected by COVID and has changed a few of her uni's to other ones. Majors declined her and she wanted to switch to access better rates on interest only then at her current bank CBA as well as keep investing. VMG adopted a average of 3 years for her particular income and that is $73k more then other banks would consider. In short I have nothing but good things to say. Brendan always picks up his phone, gets me answers to scenarios quickly, Assessors are quick and will pick up the phone and work with you when there is any query or issue. turn around times are a couple of days to a few days. Fees are a little bit higher but not so much that its an issue for these hard to place deals. There is no ongoing or risk fees. They are just really good professional people who are willing to give clients a go when they can demonstrate positive credit worthiness. Thanks guys - this review has been a long time coming but I have been busy giving you business instead haha 🙂
