The place is nice and the staff that have been here for years have been great. One of the best parts about living here used to be the community events like the holiday parties and monthly breakfast where we met a lot of our neighbors. Sara, Toni and the rest of the staff clearly put a lot of effort into those, however the events have stopped which I guess was probably a money saving move. There’s also no more free overnight parking for guests, which is annoying. Other than that, the maintenance has always been speedy and effective, and the location next to Whole Foods and a short walk from San Pedro is unbeatable.

We had an appointment at 2PM on a Saturday. Got a reminder from the office at 12. Got there on time to find the leasing office closed, no note, no response to my phone call (got a call back 15 minutes too late). We had to drive an hour for our appointment. I would have been more accommodating to the delay if they atleast left a note. Sending me a reminder and not being available is a sign of disrespect. I suggest skipping this place.

My girlfriend and I moved in a bit over a week ago. I'll likely update this throughout our time here.

Management and maintenance have been fantastic so far. They've made a clear effort to make our move-in as smooth as possible. They've quickly addressed any issues and concerns we've had.

Some of the fit & finish of the unit could be slightly better, but overall our unit is very nice, the appliances are all new, and everything works as it should.

There are several projects in the works to improve the community and it's clear that the new ownership wants to make this place even better than it already is!

Leasing office did not answer when we arrived on time for our scheduled tour. Our initial tour was cancelled and rescheduled for the same day 4 hours later. The leasing office had ample time to cancel the tour, yet didn’t and wasted our time. They did not bother to call us back either after leaving a voicemail.

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Toni for my tour of Vespaio. She has really great energy and seems like a true asset to the apartment. I appreciated the rooms, the exposed hallways, and the pricing (especially considering that it's very close to the metro and Whole Foods) and how Vespaio makes a concerted effort to build community among residents through holiday parties and regular free breakfast. While I didn't end up moving there, I would absolutely recommend checking it out if you're interested in moving to Downtown San Jose.

Me and my small family called this home for over 3 years. Over all it has been a Great experience! Very close to shops and city attractions, easy access to the freeway. Staff are very friendly and responsive, improvements have been made over the course of the length of our stay mostly in relation to feedback from residents which goes to show management is listening to concerns. Sadly we have to move further up NorCal due to a new job. Thank you to all at Vespaio for making our stay very pleasant and wonderful.

I took a tour and met with Toni. Great Customer Service still exists. She gave me a great deal of information and on top of that while we were on tour people waved and said hi to her. It showed me that people really care about their residents. May head back if I get transferred to San Jose.

Our experience with moving to San Jose into vespaio has been nothing short of amazing and smooth all thanks to the wonderful leasing office with a special shout out to Toni, who not only made the process easy but also made us feel welcome as new residents of California.
