I needed information for camping on forest roads and had an idea of what I wanted to do. The ranger knew exactly what I was talking about and gave me a forest road map per another discussion. Very helpful!

I stopped in here to ask for maps of national forest service land & roads for camping. The female ranger refused to give me any maps. She just blurted out the name of a forest service road that is popular in the area & hurried me out the door. I am a solo female traveler & really needed a map so that I would have several options of places to camp in case I felt unsafe in my first camping spot. I am NOT happy that my tax payer dollars are paying this old hags wages.
