Good place to rent. They have a range of places to rent. One bedroom, two and three bedroom. They respond quickly with a handy man to fix somthing that needs repair. Check to see if they have available rentals by calling. It's a family business. You notice their rentals around town painted brown with white trim. You pay for garbage added to your rent, $12.00 a month. You can pay with a debit, credit card or check. You have 5 days to pay for your rent or you will be charged $79.00. Main office is on 16 Ave.

Rented an apartment from them about 18 years ago for about a year until we could buy a house. Have been renting a storage unit from them for the past six months. Both times have been pleasant experiences with nothing to complain about. I pray that God continues to bless the Turtons and their great staff.

Absolutely disgusting staff. I went inside yesterday on my birthday to get information about their rentals. I'm moving to the area and wanted more information. The lady of the phone, Linda, was nice to me and said she'll be right with me. Another woman came up to me and asked could she help me. I informed her that I wanted information on their rentals because I'm moving to the area within a month. She let me know which units were available and Linda even while servicing someone on the phone tried to help. The coworker that was talking to me was telling me about the security deposit and rent being the same. I asked the coworker which bureau they used because I have security freezes on all of my reports and she was like she didn't know. They just run it through the system. Then I asked her what are the income requirements and she immediately said well the rent is the rent and we don't do any and asked Linda what the rent things were called and Linda still helping someone says vouchers and her coworker was like yeah we don't do vouchers or section 8. I was like ma'am that's not what I was asking for. I asked because many leasing companies do requirements like 3 times the rent and she was like oh. No we don't do income requirements. We just do credit. I was just telling you because a lot of people ask that. I responded but I didn't ask that. She proceeded to then tell me about their property locations. I was like okay. Have a good day. Not sure if it's just because I'm black they assumed that I needed housing assistance but I make very good income and don't need housing help. I have never felt more degraded in my life.

My wife and I rented at Madison place for nine years. We were never once late with the rent. They never offered to shampoo the carpet or paint or anything in nine years. The only thing they ever worked on was the AC, which leaked Freon badly enough that it had to be re-charged every year. The last service was on Memorial weekend and we had to get an outside contractor ourselves to fix and replace a part so that we would not have to go to the hospital with heatstroke. And we paid that bill—they eventually reimbursed us. After nine years of normal wear and tear, we cleaned the place up as well as could be expected and videoed it. It has been since the end of August 2019, when we moved out, and we still haven’t received our deposit. We sent several requests via the mail including our forwarding address, and have not received a response. We have considered taking them to appear on judge Judy. Might be a nice little trip after all.

Rented a storage unit from this place. New to town, and within 3 weeks of storage my stuff there it was broken into and my unit was a wreck. My stuff was thrown all over the place and multiple large and small items stolen. All because they can't fix their gate that is supposed to be closed at all times. And more that 50% of the lights at night are 'blown'. Stay away! They don't want to take any responsibility.

Crooked company. If I could give zero stars I would. I have had a roof leak in my unit for over a year and a half. It has damaged my personal belongings and I believe mold is growing in my apartment. Have reported these leaks for the past year and a half. Finally called the home office last month and was told these would be corrected. They did send one guy out about a week ago to look at the damage. Well today more rain and more leaks. Called the head office today and spoke to a man there. He showed not one bit of concern. Only stated "I know we have had someone out there". Well yes you have, but all he did was look at my ceiling and left. Nothing still has been done to correct this issue. He became rude and condescending. I asked him how he would feel if I were to withhold my rent until these leaks were repaired? He raised his voice and said "You can't do that!". Then I told him I will look to break my lease because of the leaks and the fact that I am sure we have mold here now. He again said "Well you can't do that either.". There is still siding on the ground that was ripped off from the hurricane that came through here in the summer. The siding has not been fixed and they haven't even picked up and disposed of the siding that was torn off. Crooked, unethical, unprofessional property management. Avoid at all cost.

Do not rent storage from them!! Someone stole all my expensive items, clothes included!! They claim they are no responsible now I have nothing!! DO NOT GET STORAGES I AM ANGRY
