Woke in the middle of the night itching to find bed bugs on me and my 3yr old daughter absolutely disgusting we got up showered which the shower was dirty as well we put our clothes in a plastic bag and was back on the road at 2am we checked in at midnight when leaving the hotel manager told us he would refund the money and he was sorry day latter we noticed the money was not refunded when we called they would not give us a refund unless we had proof because they did not find bed bugs. Bed bugs like to hide especially from light so they didn’t refund our money nor did they fix their bed bug infestation. Also he told me 108 for the room after taxes and charged 138 to my card.

Went to a wedding in Murphys and didn't realize check-in was before 10 and we missed the calls since we weren't near our phones during the wedding. The front desk person sent an email and a voicemail letting us know that they checked in for us and put the key under the specified rooms doormat. Super nice! The rooms were nice too.

My family of 4 recently stayed at the Travelodge Angels Camp for four days and found the location to be ideal for visiting local attractions. The beds were quite comfortable, which made for restful nights. However, there were several issues during my stay that need addressing.

Unfortunately, the level of service from the staff was disappointing. Despite repeated unanswered calls and requests, we experienced numerous issues with housekeeping. Throughout our stay, the only service we received was fresh towels, after requesting housekeeping (otherwise there is no trash removal, no cleaning of the bathrooms, and no general room maintenance). When we inquired about this, the excuse given was that they had knocked on the door, but no one answered. Yet, they still entered to leave towels, which clearly shows the room was empty. This left us feeling frustrated and neglected.

Additionally, we were charged extra for a crib despite making numerous requests and calls ahead of time to confirm its availability. The price for crib was never conveyed prior to our arrival despite the numerous conversations regarding it. It was disappointing to learn that we could have purchased a new crib for the amount we were charged ($35 per night + tax). When trying to address these concerns with the management, we found the responses unsatisfactory. The manager seemed dismissive, and unfortunately, getting someone to pick up the phone was a challenge. It took over 15 attempts to reach someone, even when calling from within the hotel itself.

While the hotel has potential due to its convenient location and comfortable beds, the lack of proper housekeeping, unresponsive staff, and additional charges for basic amenities made the overall experience less enjoyable than expected. I hope the management will take these concerns seriously and work on improving their service standards.

Excellent hotel. Clean rooms and property. Single female traveler always felt safe. Plenty of hot water, air worked fine. Sparkling pool.

Comfortable friendly staff anything I had questions about or anything I needed the staff was exthelpful and fast with whatever request that came up would definitely recommend to anyone that is your staying in angels camp this would be the place to go

I wish I could give negative stars. I had booked my room through a travel site. When we arrived to check in, it was 9:02PM and we were greeted by a sign tapped on the door that said the office was only opened 9AM-9PM and "for after hours check in check your email and voice mail". Nowhere on the booking listing or confirmation did it say the office was only opened during those hours. I looked in my email and checked my voice mail. I tried calling and knocking on the door but no one answered. How was there no one there if I was only 2 minutes passed closing. This is the most ridiculous thing I have EVER experienced in all my travels. What nation wide chain does not keep the front office opened 24hrs? I will NEVER stay at a Travel Lodge or Wyndham again and if you are staying in Angels Camp, I would avoid this place if at all possible. Thank God the Best Western had a room for us. I will be sending these complaints on to Travel Lodge and Wyndham.

Our sheets were dirty and stained. Gross. Pool was very cold and kind of dirty. Bed was comfortable though. No breakfast even though it shows a photo of it. No I wouldn't stay there again.

The rooms here are large and look newly renovated. Pricing is competitive. They say they are a pet friendly hotel but they charge a $25 non refundable pet fee, per day. That is not at all pet friendly".
