My husband and I recently found ourselves purchasing two homes in two months, which is very unusual since we bought our last house more than 20 years ago!

Our first purchase was how we met Virginia and Casey Morse. With no intention of buying, we stumbled across an open house one weekend and met Casey, the seller’s agent. While it wasn’t “perfect,” we absolutely fell in love with the property and once I saw the backyard, I knew it needed to be ours! As luck would have it, offers were due the next day but we didn’t have a realtor (again, we had no intention of buying a home that weekend!) so Casey introduced us to Virginia.

I don’t remember all the details because it was a mad dash to write an offer, and my husband did most of the work with Virginia. Needless to say, after a tremendous amount of help and guidance from Virginia, we got the house!

A few weeks later, we decided it was time to move my 82-year-old Mother closer to us and we started the hunt. I won’t bore anyone with all the details, but the second purchase wasn’t quite the same fairytale.

I don’t know how many phone calls and emails were exchanged, but it was in the hundreds. Sometimes it was a little issue, other times the issue seemed insurmountable. But at the end of the day, we were victorious in finding Mom the right home, at the right price in the perfect location.

Virginia and Casey were helpful in ways I couldn’t have imagined. They walked us through the mountains of paperwork in ways that made it unintimidating, while also making sure we knew exactly what we needed to know without getting buried. They set us up with all the tradespeople we needed (plumbing, cleaning, rodent inspections) saving us a tremendous amount of time trying to research it all on our own.

I am forever in their debt for helping me through a highly emotional process with calm, confidence, and composure. I am absolutely certain we couldn’t have done this without them. No question was too stupid, no call was too late, no phone call went unanswered (even when they were on vacation!!!!!!).
While it was a sometimes-difficult process, I am incredibly grateful to them both for being so diligent, so knowledgeable and, most important, so kind.
