We had the most amazing stay at the Modista! The place was stunning, so clean, and so private and peaceful. Arthur was such an amazing host - it texted us and checked in on us just the right amount to make sure we were doing okay. Kitchen is fabulous for cooking. Pool is just right. The interior is designed so well and is so inviting and refreshing. And we could have stared all day at the gorgeous view (we did!). Thanks for an amazing stay!

I recently stayed in the Modsita for a girlfriend’s special birthday weekend and it was perfection. Mayastoga arranged all of our dinner plans and even a private wine tasting in the house. The space itself was beyond gorgeous and the views were incredible. The photos don’t do it justice! Every morning we enjoyed a cup of coffee surrounded by roaming deer and wildlife. It was like being in a nature preserve! Arthur spared no expense in making the home absolutely perfect. You actually don’t feel like you are a renter, you feel more like a home owner. We were provided with every luxury amenity you could think of, including a golf cart to visit our friends staying in the neighboring farmhouse.
I have stayed in many short term rental properties and this might be the first one that I could actually imagine living in. Thank you Arthur for the amazing stay. We will definitely be back in 2020!!!

A exquisite breathe of freshness and beauty at every turn on the entire property. Exceptional design and decor that promotes functionality and wellbeing. All aspects of comfort and luxury are well attended that met all expectations . Beautiful appointed smart home with a wonderful manager Arthur who is helpful and welcoming . This is the perfect romantic getaway or serenity retreat that difficult to leave. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. The absolute best staycation!

Wonderful place and awesome host! All the furnitures are both stylish and comfortable. The view is unbeatable, and there were cute dears, rabbits passing by often. The heated pool is very fun and instagrammable. Besides Arthur is a super responsive and helpful host. Highly recommend this place!

A group of girlfriends came on a long overdue and much needed getaway to this peaceful abode. Some stayed at the beautiful, magazine perfect farm house and four of us stayed in a slice of heaven called the "Modista." The Modista was an exquisitely designed and decorated sanctuary situated at the base of a mountain and in the heart of wildlife. We awoke every morning to walls of glass and a warming fireplace as deer roamed all around us. It was exquisite beyond words. I will not only return with my husband but on my own when I need recharging and a place to write. It was Awesome. And while we felt left to the tranquil sanctuary we sought, Arthur and Bradley were never far to take care of any little thing we needed. I simply could not have asked for more. It was AMAZING.

My stay was perfect. I enjoyed the indoor/outdoor living, the solitude, comfy bed and linens with extra pillows, and the design. The kitchen is well stocked, and everything was especially clean. The host was very responsive throughout the booking and stay.

This place is amazing! The view is beautiful and the heated pool is awesome. The design and finish on the property is very nice, and it's a perfect getaway. Felt very safe for COVID as well
