We have lived in this house going on 5 years. We have had many water problems like burst pipes, leaks from improperly installed pipes, and many more.
We have had 3 tress come down in our back yard, one took out the fence, and they have REFUSED to do anything about them.
The front porch railing is rotting apart, the siding on the house is rotting off and the back deck is rotting.
The repair man is totally inept and can never fix a problem with one visit. The plumbing under the sink still leaks and looks like a child installed it.

If the 4th tree comes down, we are going to sue them and break the lease and DEMAND our money back!

They are ONLY interested in money! They do not care about the tenants or upkeep of their properties!

Three years in an old house that has never been updated. Old appliances, rotten siding, rotten front porch, leaking roof, old crappy gutters, rear screen porch that leaked and was rotting. Overgrown tree limbs hanging on the roof and filing up the gutters. Nothing ever actually repaired. They just put bandaids on everything. We lived with an ugly blue tarp on the roof for months because they wouldn’t repair the leak. Paid close to $4000 in move out fees. Money is their motive. Not their tenants living conditions. 😡

Don't do it! I lived in a townhouse for a couple of years and this was my final year because I've been so miserable and frustrated. I paid rent on time. But my issues with heating/cooling, rotten wood, mold, and water damage were not addressed appropriately. I've been inconvenienced on several occasions and NO ONE cared enough to offer to reimburse me for having to stay in a hotel, having to buy several fans just to stay cool in our bedrooms or anything. Yet I receive a letter in the mail about replacing a broken piece from a set of blinds but they refuse to address the issue with insulation and rotten wood exactly where the blinds are located.

I regret the day that I renewed my lease thinking that things would get better, BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER!!!! I've never been treated this way ever in my history of renting. I just moved out to a great place and i FINALLY have a peace of mind and can sleep comfortably. I do not recommend renting from this agency. They won't respect you or your circumstances, they just want your money.

I must say I've been renting from this company for a few months now and I am enjoying it. If I submit a maintenance request, they're out to get it fixed within a couple days. Friendly and professional!

Excellent leasing company! My application was accepted and approved with great terms in days. P.S. I didn't have great credit, I was denied by others, and The Housing Group came through for my family and me. 👍😊
Also, we had A/C issues over summer which were taken care of very well too.

House we lived in was filled with mold, rotting wood, and things constantly breaking. Our a/c has gone out multiple times, showers stopped working, and quite simply the whole home just falling apart. These people are not timely on getting back to you, and simply just don’t care. We moved out almost 3 weeks ago, and still haven’t received anything about a security deposit coming back. I’ve left about 3 messages because they don’t answer the phone. Still haven’t received even a call back. I was getting sick every month because of the home, and when I expressed this to an employee, I was basically being laughed at.
If I could give less than a 1 star review, I would.

Do not lease from these people.

I am so surprised by the other reviews. I lived in one of their townhomes for a little over 2 and half years (I extended my lease while I was looking for a new place). Honestly, if they had more homes in my area I would definitely have rented through them again. While I was a resident maintenance always took care of my request in a timely manner. The AC did go down during the summer once and maintenance ended up having to come back to complete a full replacement but they kept me in the loop on what was going on. I believe it may have been down approximately a week or so. But parts had to be ordered and the actual owner had to approve the repairs. This to me is understandable for a property management company who works differently than an apartment complex. When you return your keys they do want to get the property back in the exact condition that you received it in. That includes paint and carpet cleaning. Just a heads up because you will be charged. Overall they did a pretty good job and their staff was always very friendly.

I am on my 5th and finally year renting from them. They were good in the beginning but for the last 2 years. They close maintenance work orders without repairs being done phone calls and emails go unanswered. I have always paid my rent and the late charge if it was late. They blame it on the homeowners who won’t authorize the repairs. If it’s a safety issue they should not need the homeowners authorization. Don’t get messed up renting from this company
