This company is a joke, playing like they are running a legitimate business. They did no rental verification, and after weeks of calling for an update with their response being "its still pending", they snail mailed a denial letter purposefully wasting my time. I ultimately filed a complaint against them, in which we were advised to include the owner of the home we applied for. The owner ended up removing his home completely off the market because of it and never found a renter. Though the complaint lead to no relief being granted, the point was to speak up or companies like this will continue to think they can operate business in this manner. Fortunately, it worked out for my greater good in the end as I decided to buy outright, was immediately approved by 4 mortgage lenders, and ended up purchasing a home worth more than the rental property they "denied" me for.

The best decision I made when I decided to sell my house was to contact Tara properties. I had the pleasure of working with John, who was always available to assist me with my questions and concerns. He worked diligently and professionally to address a myriad of issues with a difficult tenant. I was impressed with his in-depth knowledge of the local real estate market. Tara properties management has been great at managing my property. I dont have any complaints and I trust in their team to take care of my property and the tenants living in my property. Their services for the landlord is simple, their website for the landlords are easy to use and understand. The other thing that I would like to compliment is John who is always responsive and is able to solve problems, offer contractors who provide great work, and looks out for your best interests. Doug was heaven sent! I live out of state and he totally ensured the necessary maintenance of the property and always took care of the tenants over the years. I had very little to worry about for the 13 years he's been with us. He was my first property manager and has set the standard for anyone who will come after. Can't say enough good things about him! His professionalism is what I have come to expect from Tara Properties and would work with them again in the future.

So honestly, the entire time we rented through Tara, we saw our "property manager" about 3 times, on the yearly checks he made to the house when we renewed our lease. For pretty much anything else, he always referred me to the actual owner of the property. After a while. I stopped contacting him at all and just started contacting the owner if we needed anything. When we went to end our lease, he got pretty huffy about the fact that I had let the owners know before him that we were purchasing. He then sort of threatened me several times with court because we were breaking our lease early - which the owners were fine with. We paid fees to get out of the lease, as one who has ever rented property would expect to. It wasn't a bit deal, but he kept saying he didn't want to have to take me to court. Hi? I'm an intelligent, normal human being. I had no intention of skipping out on my lease or not paying the early break fees, or of intentionally leaving owners who had been exceptional to us in any sort of lurch. There's just no need to be so condescending and rude to people who have been good tenants, never late on rent, always tried to resolve issues on our own before involving the owner, etc.

I referred a friend to Debbie Carter, and she listed his home in Fayetteville. She was honest and timely with everything she worked on to get his home sold for the maximum amount. She handled everything promptly and professionally. The sale closed this week, and my friend is thrilled, even though the buyer's agent was not as thorough, Debbie made sure everything was perfect. I will be using Debbie if I decide to sell any of my properties without hesitation.
