Boston Automations, my home technology company, recently collaborated with Sweenor Builders on an oceanfront home in Narragansett, Rhode Island, and it was an incredible journey from start to finish! From the initial introductions, to the design phase, through construction and to finishing touches, everyone I worked with was professional, friendly, responsive, and skilled. The design phase with Mitch and the team was actually fun, as we experimented with a few different approaches and landed on a design that suited my needs and the property perfectly. The construction phase was well-run and gave me great confidence in the quality of construction and the longevity of the home I was investing in. My project manager Aaron went above and beyond, and did a good job keeping me up to date! The interior design team of Kristen and Talia were terrific to work with, responsive to my requests, and brought great ideas to the table. The whole team did an excellent job keeping me on task with decision points but never overwhelming me with them. Sweenor did a complete rebuild of the outside - roof, siding, shudders, screens, trim and storm windows for our100 year old 8 bedroom summer home. All siding and roof were done in cedar shingles. Home is 8000 sq ft. It was a major project by any standard with a great number of “one off”decisions and solutions due to the age of the home
Experience with Sweenor has been entirely positive. Quality of all the work was outstanding and timely. I could not have hoped for more. In addition the entire Sweenor team and subcontractors were of the highest quality and all very pleasant to work with. The attitude was always we will do all the work the right way never any hurrying up or compromise of quality.
Despite the size of the job the work was completed within the initial estimate.
My recommendation for Sweenor is unqualified. I felt most fortunate to have them as my general contractor on this very large and complicated job.
