ZERO Stars. Our experience with this "business" as well as the realtor Lisa Thornton, has been even less than horrible. We have never had to leave a bad review for anyone but after multiple attempts to contact someone, with no return or corporation, we have no choice (other than taking legal action in which we may still have to do over $500). This is absolutely ridiculous. We put $500.00 down earnest on a property and we backed out before the 10 day period. THEIR CLIENT refuses to sign off on our $500.00 earnest to be returned. So, now after speaking to Lisa once trying to be very reasonable and just trying to figure out where we go from here, I am only able to reach her on her phone with still NO RESPONSE FROM THE AUCTION GROUP. I just spoke to her again and she got upset that I was upset (naturally) about our money and she literally said, "what do you want us to do, hold a gun to his head?" and HUNG UP ON ME. She obviously doesn't know how to properly handle situations like this. This is highly unprofessional. After numerous attempts to resolve this to keep everyone form having to go to court, we have no other options but to leave honest reviews and take everyone that is required to be there, to court. Addendum - - I was finally contacted by the owner of Swafford and he was a lot more professional & understanding & guided me to contact the Alabama Real-estate Commission's legal team to take further action.
