I lived in one of ST Living’s co-living residences on Alexandria Ave, and it was honestly a good experience. I was a little nervous about shared living, but I ended up meeting some close friends here. Everyone’s respectful but also social—we’ve done movie nights, potlucks, etc... The space is clean and modern, and management keeps everything running without being overbearing. Highly recommend if you’re new to LA or just want a built-in community.

Moved into an ST Living apartment a few months ago, and so far, so good. The place was super clean when I moved in, and the kitchen actually has enough storage (rare in LA). Had an issue with my shower pressure, and maintenance fixed it the next day. Only wish there was more guest parking, but other than that, no complaints!

I just moved to LA from out of state which is always a complicated process. With most things, there were a few hiccups during move in. However, the team at ST Living LA has been very helpful and patient with me. At every turn I have been able to email them and get a quick response. So far I have not needed any maintenance requests but remain confident that the team will be responsive and helpful as they have been so far.
Big shout out to Charm, Josh, and Anai who I have had most of my interactions with. The apartment itself is clean, well maintained, and despite the neighborhood we're in, safe.

Potential tenants, please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. The buildings may look nice on the outside, but management has clearly cut corners on the quality of interior, plumbing and appliances.

I've had several issues with stolen packages, having no hot water for up to 5 days, having a leaky sink, having no gas multiple times and management doing nothing about other tenants who double park and block our parking spots.

The management team completely ignored my multiple messages requesting some sort of rent credit to rectify these issues, and when they did finally respond, they tried to blame the hot water and sink on me despite the fact that their "new" building has poor plumbing. They are rude at best and negligent at worst. Save yourselves, and do not live here and deal with this.

I am going to specifically give a review for the 2033 Beechwood Dr. units. I have been here for about a year and some change. Initially, I was pleased by the neighborhood and the recent remodels to the units. However, the issues started pouring in immediately after moving in. The fixes to their issues are always Band-Aids. They will cut any corner that they possibly can.

These apartments got nothing more than a cheap facelift. Within a month of moving in, the flooring came undone from the entryway. They could not get a hold of the contractors that did the initial flooring, So they offered to buy me a rug and or remove flooring from under my bed and move it to the front of the unit. How tacky.

Additionally, they took about two months to fix the issue AND ended up placing flooring that is clearly different from the rest. I let it slide. Upon moving in, I also made it explicitly clear that my car does not fit in the parking spot That they provided. They split a single car garage into two so both cars barely fit. My car has been damaged time after time by the tenants beforehand and the tenants after. Made these complaints and they constantly just blame the tenants, even though I constantly highlight that it is indeed management’s fault for not taking my requests with urgency.

The flooring in my restroom is completely coming undone and rotting, flooring throughout the entire apartment unit is warped and crooked, which makes it impossible to stabilize any form of furniture. It doesn’t help that their customer service reps are definitely not in the United States and don’t know anything about the property itself.

They also treat legacy tenants like absolute garbage. There are about four out of the 16 tenants here that have been here for over 20 years and they do anything in their power to intimidate them and try to get them to move out. Additionally, emits the LA wildfires, they continuously pressed on me to renew my lease at an exceptionally higher rate than the current market rate.

A unit across the way with the same dimensions and layout went for about $400 less the month prior and I asked if we could bring the rent down given all of the issues I’ve had with the building and they immediately declined. Was here or paper-thin and you can hear everything, and I mean everything, from everyone living above below and next to you.

Avoid this place by all costs. They prioritize profit over tenant comfort. Such a shame, These places had great potential. I understand that most of these places are over 100 years old, but when the remodels were done, it would’ve been a few extra thousand to put some insulation and invest in quality work

After 3 years of living here I’m finally getting sick of management’s slowly deteriorating level of service. They’ve claimed for over 6 months to be adding a security gate to keep unwanted trespassers from behind the building. No gate yet. They claim to fix the broken locks but as you can see in the video the main entrance door latch constantly fails to latch properly removing all security from our building. And lately not a single person ever answers the phone regardless of time of day. I’m done playing polite. Do not rent from ST Living.
