I would not recommend using this property management company. They took over my lease with my trailer in Lincoln. The trailer clearly needed repairs. This company placed a new roof on but when notified about an electrical issue with the trailer they failed to have it repaired. For over a year I contacted them numerous times over FB messenger expressing my concerns over this. Unfortunately, on 10.21.23 my whole world came crashing down when Sharon Thomas and her realtor friend who was my Boss wife, Tracey, called me to inform me my trailer was on fire And if I needed a hotel for the night. I have become homeless ever since and even lost my job due to this incident. I would not trust them with my life.

Well, I made the mistake of NOT visiting the property first! I have zero problems with paying, but I expect a certain level of service for my funds. It was a SIGN when the pro-rated amount was incorrectly calculated. Still, I waited for it to be corrected. Due to work, I was not able to view the apartment right away. After doing so, I completed the move-in, and sent it back. On the day I signed the lease I was informed the carpet has to be professionally cleaned. CLEARLY taking the time to paint the place is ASKING FOR TOO MUCH. I recall Ann being very precise about the carpet; so, when I completed my move-in and saw how the walls had scuffs everywhere I was truly upset! Ann's explanation was the walls are not... are not always paint... you know when... well, I'll just look at your move-in. I've lived in large cities and countryside and never have I lived in a ROACH infested home in either area!

Also, I allowed time to see if someone would return and paint, but almost a month in and no one has shown up. I guess I'll have to paint the walls myself!

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE to REALITY or ST. CLAIR HOMETOWN RENTALS.

St. Clair Home Town Properties is the best! Not only did they make the proccess so easy they consitently worked hard for us to the end of our tenants lease. The level of attention that Sharon gave my home is amazing! If you are looking for a property management company I highly recommend them!

Sharon Thomas and St Clair Hometown Properties professionally managed my property for several years and I’ve never had a vacancy. I travel frequently, so communication is a top priority for me. I couldn’t be there to look after the property myself, but Sharon and her team at Hometown properties ensured maintenance needs and tenant concerns were addressed quickly and professionally. I could rely on them to arrange qualified and experienced maintenance personnel for things like AC and plumbing repairs, and they always kept me in the loop. You will not find a more reliable property management group than Sharon Thomas and the team at St Clair Hometown Properties.

The sale of my property was also handled by Sharon Thomas. She ensured so many actions were taken care of, including things the owner would typically handle. Her advice was spot-on regarding preparing the property for sale. She was open to discussing repairs and she also stepped in to ensure the property clean and ready for showing. Hometown Properties did a great job listing my home for sale and I had numerous showings in a very short time, resulting in a quick contract for sale/purchase. Sharon was right there to help advise me on the negotiation for this sale.

I had a different property manager prior to hometown properties taking over and let me just say that it is a day and night difference between the old property managers versus hometown properties! Sharon and Victoria are amazing! They are attentive and considerate. They check in and always make sure things are running smoothly. They genuinely care about the people that live in properties they manage. I couldn’t have asked for a better company! They have helped me in many ways and I don’t know what I would’ve done without them!

We have rented with them for 2 years. They have been nothing but sweet and amazing. Anytime we had a maintenance request it was always taken care of usually in 48 hours or less. They have been wonderful to work with. The only reason we no longer use them is due to buying a home. Would highly recommend!

We have been renting for the past year with St. Clair HomeTown Properties. We moved back to Pell City from out-of-state and needed to rent while we are building a house. We started with a 9 month lease and quickly realized that our house would not be finished in time, we contacted our agent Ann, we were able to move to a 12 month lease with no problems. We had a few AC problems when we first moved in, it stopped working on a Sunday afternoon in August, they had someone out within 2 hours to get it up and going. It stopped again a few weeks later late in the evening, again someone was out quickly to patch it for the night and back to repair the problem the next day. We also had a kitchen light that was blowing through bulbs, they contacted the owner and he came out and replaced it. It has been an overall great experience and I would highly recommend St. Clair HomeTown Properties.

Sharon was awesome to work with when buying our second home. Moving here from across the county was hard as the market down here is a lot different from what we were used to. We gave Sharon a list of things we would like in our future home and in the first day of showings she found the one for us. Upon entering each home we went to see, she came prepared with pages of information on the property which were very helpful in our final decision to buy. As for availability, due to our work schedules she was also fantastic when it came to questions or concerns with the home we purchased, being available to us whenever we needed her. Once it was time for inspections/etc. she worked with the seller and went above and beyond! Making sure everything that needed fixed was done in quick and professional manner. We would recommend her to anyone wanting to buy a home!
