Horrible experience with this group. We received a too good to be true marketing brochure for "lakefront property". A 1 day sale. The brochure showed pics of water front views on level land but the contact person would not divulge anymore info other than we have to attend for more details. Well the property and soon to be an HOA development is on a steep ridge with 45+ degree heavily wooded slopes that begin about 30-90ft from dirt road at the top and no where near the water. The majority of the property for purchase would be on this slope. The road leading into it was single lane, dirt, and similar to mountain climb switch backs. It would require major money to have it paved. A few lots might have seasonal lakeview (lake would be far off in the distance) if all the leaves fell but none were waterfront as advertised. This was a pressure sell and a marketing scam in my opinion. The people who helped us tour this were very nice but that's about it. Lesson learned, if it sounds too good to be true...then it probably is.

BUYER BEWARE !!!! Southland marketing and Developmen come in to developments and try and sell off all the property during a couple days . You will end up paying way more than if you went through a private real estate company. We bought in Franklin North Carolina in June 2022 and way overpaid for the land. Once they have your money they they will not follow through with anything they promised. Horrible customer service from Matt Sliger who once they had our money no longer would even answer our phone calls.
