Our home was destroyed by the hurricane and we had been living in the hotel. We had tried every possible rental company trying to find something before Christmas. One day I so happened to be online and saw this company had a home for rent. We met and the rest is history. Moving in was super easy, any issues that arise get resolved swiftly. Truly thank God for Kaylee!!!

I have been a tenant for at least two years now. I have no complaints. Mrs. Kaylee is a very understanding landlord. If assistance is ever needed she communicates quickly and effectively. Mr. Steve, maintenance is TOP Tier as well. He does not play any games when it comes to service requests. He lets you know what he’s doing and how he is going to do it. AND HE DOES IT! He is a very Hard worker, that knows EXACTLY WHAT he is doing. My time as a Tenant has been nothing less than peaceful.

I’ve Been a Tenant Since Feb 2023. I have been satisfied with the communication understanding and comfort from Kaylee And Mr.Steven(maintenance guy). anytime I ask to do any improvements of the home she gives me the okay. Anytime I put in a request online, the next day Mr Steven is on his way. She is very understanding as long as you reach out and let her know what’s going on. I recommend Southern Family Rentals and I’m highly appreciated!

I waited to leave a review to ensure it wouldn’t affect my deposit or try and add any additional charges when I moved out because Kaley the property manager would’ve most certainly done as such. The houses they usually rent out are at a bare minimum. The house I lived in was in a high crime neighborhood and it was broken into twice with doors my 6 year old daughter could’ve kicked in. It had one of the cheapest air conditioning units I had ever seen and honestly only cools or heats the living room and doesn’t really reaches the bedroom. I know you are always supposed to clean a house when you first move in but someone literally took a bowel movement and left it there when I moved in. If I wasn’t in a desperate situation at the time I would’ve most certainly turned it down but I dealt with it and did what I had to do but I most certainly would not recommend anyone to these people.

My property manager Kaylee Veal and her maintenance guy Steven are the best. Very professional and what makes them the best are their great customer service. Both go out their way to make sure I get the best service in their power. Steven provides hands down on time and at always very professional services on repairs that are needed and allowed for him to do. Kaylee Veal is outstanding with her prompt response to any question I have and always try if in her power to give a honest answer. One could never ask for to committed people.

Left a good review previously until it was time to move out. Definitely would NOT recommend. Property was INFESTED with roaches and health/safety hazards I'm almost positive the health department would not approve for renting out to tenants. Rent was originally $625 and out of nowhere she shot it up to $800 for a home with no added bonuses to make the rent increase make sense NO CENTRAL and completely infested with roaches. It was an embarrassment to live at this property and will NEVER rent from this company again! Money Vultures with worthless properties.
