I have been renting from this company for 2 years and they are some very generous, understanding, awesome people to rent from. They are always polite and very helpful.Whenever you have a issue, they send someone out quickly to get the issue resolved. There properties are super nice. Attention Parents and Students: Do not rent from this company. Their standard practice is to begin showing the property a month after you sign the original lease, unless you immediately sign for a second year. As a result, there will often be a parade of people touring your residence multiple times a week for almost the entirety of your lease. Consider this for a moment, this is a college town with a nonstop stream of renters. The fact that they need almost a year to find a new tenant speaks volumes about their ability to manage these properties. Even worse, if you or your child is a young woman, they are ostensibly letting people without any application or background check walk through the home you are leasing. This seems to me to be a tactic designed to get people to sign longer leases, without any consideration for their safety or “quiet enjoyment” of their home. I know several people who rent currently, and many who have in the past. Their feedback is all the same, and annoying lack of regard for your space via unreasonably long terms for showing the property, and a complete a total disregard for quality repairs and maintenance. Take a look at the negative reviews here and the antagonist and hostile way the company responds to them. These people are petty, unprofessional and share personal details in a public forum. They lack any sense of decorum, and given that they require a year to find a tenant for rental homes in a college town… rent elsewhere.

This company has to be by far the absolute worst company to rent from, Save yourself the headache and heartache. They all pretend that they’re nice because they see money signs and only thrive off of that until you get locked into a contract then everything changes. This company has no heart and seems soulless. I too was warned not to use them but went against the advise I received just to be told I had to leave and vacate my property unexpectedly because they were trying to charge me for their lazy maintenance men mishaps. No one likes to be lied on and when I realize that the maintenance men were telling them that a issue from my plumbing that affected my unit was identified while I was the tenant, they lied and said otherwise I guess because they didn’t want to foot the bill. I begin to try to get proof of them lying, called the plumbing company that came by and was informed that the issue couldn’t have come from me it there is no way I could go into my plumbing and put a rod inside of there. Seems like common sense right. But nope they said I did it because the maintenance men told them I did and they could only go off of what they say. So if the maintenance men don’t like you or you complain because they love to do half ass work they will tell them whatever they wish. Wish I would’ve listened and ran. Don’t challenge the maintenance system apparently because they all work together and they matters more then the years you were with the company. Adele is the only one their with a heart since Linda left. Jennifer should find another career property management isn’t her strong suit. She should do anything that doesn’t involve customers, building relationships, any type of human interaction at all. Get into farming and go be with the animals less human interactions would be best. Even when the issue wasn’t your issue to begin with they will all twist it so it is. So they can probably still tell the owner they covered it and use the money. I worked in property management before so I am not someone that would be problematic I just wanted to live comfortably and apparently that was a issue.

Southern Classic Management has been managing our properties for four years. They do a great job. They are responsive and attentive. They help keep our properties rented and help us keep our homes very well maintained. Our tenants seem happy with them as well. A large majority of our tenants are happy to renew, thanks to their service. I would recommend them to anyone.

Everything was great… great customer … they were there to explain everything. I didn’t give whole 5 stars only becoz we were not happy for the charges we were charged while leaving the apartment like ozone treatment, cleaning treatment (we cleaned everything- this does not include carpet cleaning which we were ok with)…
