Ali was great to work with when buying our house last fall. She was very easy to work with, flexible and generous with her time when it came to scheduling showings, and always willing and prompt to reach out to the seller with questions.

I want to express my gratitude for Brant and Sound Real Estate. I was moving to Athens without knowing the area that well. Brant listened to what I wanted and needed, and he was able to match my wish list with options. Being a long time member of the Athens community, he is well connected to know the history of the neighborhoods, the houses, and what is coming around the corner. He was able to show me houses before they were going on the market, or I was the first one to see a house when the listing went public. He was patient with me, and he matched my cadence. I am certain he could have moved faster if I desired that of him. Instead, he was patient and he found the house for me that checked all my boxes. I never would have found the house I am currently in without his connections and ability to close the deal. I cannot recommend Brant enough. Great guy that is professional and trustworthy, but he also knows his job. He does it well, and he will deliver.

Brant helped us find our current house. This is our first house and we didn't have any experience with "buying a house". Brant is super patient and helpful in the process. He never made any hints of buying or not buying a house. He was working for us and totally respected our decision. He provided lots of information and helped us understand the process. He even crawled into the craw space with me to look at the foundation and beams. It has been a year since we bought the house and we very much enjoy living in it. We are grateful for Brant's help and would like to recommend anyone looking to buy a house in the Athens area.

Brant made the purchase of our first home so easy, relaxed, and smooth. We could not recommend him more positively. He does everything possible to help you find the best home for your family and answered all of our questions about owning a home including how to get prepared for escrow, closing, and move-in. My daughter and son-in-law recommended Brant to me when I decided to begin looking for a home after an eight-year hiatus from home ownership. What a brilliant recommendation that was! I suspected I would not be easy to work with - I am retired, slow to make decisions, and reluctant to spend my money. Brant was an excellent listener, patient, and knowledgeable. Brant found for me a house that exceeded my expectations. He helped me throughout the process and was so attentive to all my questions and concerns. Although I didn't have a house to sell, and wasn't looking for a pricey home, I always felt I was as valued a client as any. Brant is the best!

Brant was our broker for the last house we purchased. The seller, believe it or not, was somewhat reluctant to sell his house; he would miss negotiating deadlines and was unresponsive at times. Brant handled the situation with professionalism and transparency. He kept us updated and was persistent in getting the seller’s broker to act. We were eventually able to get the deal done. I should also mention that we had walked away from the 1st house we made an offer on after the home inspection came back with too many things to correct. Brant supported our decision and agreed with our reasoning; he had our best interests at heart. When my mom decided to move to Athens from California, I recommended she use Brant as her broker!

Brant was excellent when I purchased my home four years ago. I had specific requirements and a pretty limited budget. Brant listened carefully to my requests, gave excellent advice on pluses and minuses of different locations and never tried to get me to look at properties that would have stretched my budget uncomfortably. In the end he found a property that was listed outside of my range but he felt (correctly it turned out) that I could purchase for a price within my budget. I have been extremely happy with the house. Brant was always on time, professional and good-natured, and he responded promptly to emails and phone calls. Even though I was purchasing at the lower-priced side of the market, I never felt that he was in a hurry to be done with me. I would recommend him to anyone looking to buy a house in Athens.
