We have a farm that dates back to 1793 and had very little information about our current well system and we are planning to incorporate drip irrigation into our fields this spring but we needed to know what the system could handle.

The crew came out within two days of our initial request and ran flow and recovery rates and gave us several recommendations that would fit our irrigation plan. They didn’t try to oversell us and gave us great advice and guidance.

Once we approved the estimate, the team arrived within a week to install larger pumps, expansion tanks and variable drive systems.

They communicated very efficiently, they sought approval for additional work that was necessary outside of the original scope. The installation team works very well and are extremely knowledgeable and great communicators.

I initially called them for a second opinion about a sulfur smell in our water after another company recommended a costly water test and carbon filter installation for $440. This was after we had already paid $770 for them to shock our well, which only fixed the problem for about a month.

When I spoke with Bo at Shamrock, he took the time to ask detailed questions over the phone and was able to diagnose the problem without even needing to come out—or charging us anything! Had the first company asked the same questions, we could have saved the $770 and avoided unnecessary treatments.

Bo explained that the sulfur smell is a common issue with well water and sent us a recommendation for the exact product to buy. He even assured us that we could likely install it ourselves, which we did, and it completely fixed the problem—saving us $440 and potentially even more in the long run!

Excellent service!! Call to have someone check an issue with air in our water system. Nick and Matt troubleshooted the problem finding a worn O-ring on the well pump connection as the culprit. I also upgraded the water tank to a larger unit in order to improve the water pressure in our faucets. Everything was done professionally and I am completely satisfied with their workmanship. Will keep Shamrock Well & Pump as my service provider and highly recommend them.
