We've had a very positive experience with Pulte at Sea Island Preserve. We just celebrated our 1 year anniversary and had moved from out of state. Both Shane our Construction Manager and Tony our Customer Care Manager were both great to work with and are quality people that represent Pulte well.
Regarding the community, our neighbors have been wonderful and the grand live oaks and natural beauty are inspiring. Our property and neighborhood handled the water from recent Hurricane Debby without a problem. Grateful to be in this community!

The neighborhood looks great from the outside but not all that glitters is gold. I’ve lived in SIP for four months now and it seems like a cross between Wisteria Lane and the wild Wild West up in here. Be aware of the HOA rules and regulations BEFORE you commit , as they are confusing and changing depending upon the whims of the board that is not even local. You might also want to check out the neighborhood Facebook page before you decide to be neighbors with some of these people ( wisteria lane and wild wild west combined). Hide your husbands and your sons - there might be a cougar on the prowl.

As for Pulte, the sales people will apparently tell you anything you want to hear to get you to sign the dotted line. They over promise and under deliver. Get everything in writing. After living here for only a few weeks I noticed the paint on my cabinets was peeling and the quality is sub par, even with an upgraded “luxury” kitchen package. When we asked Pulte to make things right, they said they didn’t cover “scratches and dings”. This was clearly not a scratch or ding but a quality workmanship issue. We were then ghosted and ignored. Again - get everything in writing. Join the Facebook page preemptively- lots of neighbors are discussing workmanship issues along with lots of other drama. Again, the Pulte folks are sweet as pie to your face and then give you the run around once you’ve closed. It’s been disappointing and exhausting to say the least.

Emma was great, We switched construction managers part way through, but Garrett was always responsive. Few problems we have had they have been quick to remedy. Disappointed that our inspector was unable to do a few things like walking on the roof to fully inspect and walk around the attic fully, at our one-year review those areas had issues that were found from walking that would not have been found due to the limitations from Pulte.

That said happy with the house and what we have, community is nice (amenities are getting completed), location is great for what I need.

I never thought I'd give a big conglomerate builder a 5 star review, but they deserve it. Our construction manager was incredible--she went above and beyond to make sure the property was perfect before closing. We had 2 inspections (pre-drywall and before closing inspection), which I'd highly recommend BOTH, and Pulte fixed everything without complaint. I love our neighborhood, I love our home, it's beautiful! we are so happy.

We've been in the neighborhood for exactly one year and have never looked back. We were originally looking in older neighborhoods but stumbled across Hannah in the sales center. She took meticulous notes and knew exactly what we were looking for. As soon as a lot became available that fit our needs, Hannah, called immediately. We put a deposit down that day. Porter took care of the building process and was amazing! He kept us abreast of everything as the house was being built. Tyler, was extremely helpful at our one year walk through and has followed up with all of our questions! Great neighborhood! Great neighbors and amenities!

Great community. Chris was amazing; he’s extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Took a client to see some model homes without an appointment and Chris did everything he could to make sure we were taken care of. It was very much appreciated!

We have been here 1 yr now, love the neighbors & neighborhood, we are happpy with our quality new home. Pool area is lovely, but an actual club house for events would have been a nice feature to add. We are on a main thoughofare, and since the neighborhood is only 3/4 complete, there is lots of fast moving construction traffic currently, but generally residents drive slowly. The grounds generally kept well & there are lots of scenic & quiet walking & biking areas. There is a mix of young couples, families & retiree’s in this neighborhood. Being from NY, taken some getting used to hot & humid in the summer months here, but overall we love it here.

I love my new Pulte home! The construction manager Anjelika sent us photos of the build progress every week (we came from Texas), answered all our questions during the build, and was available for 30 days post-close. She was able to meet all our needs and expectations. She went above and beyond!
