First, I love living in Saw Mill Square! Due to a mil/gov job transfer, unfortunately we will be moving soon. But it has been absolutely wonderful living here! The apartments are nice, great design, and a very safe neighborhood. The property manager- Katie- is very professional, communicative, and kind. She definitely does a wonderful job and takes care of all her tenants. All of their staff is just great!
My children loved the theatre room and the gym! They also have a nice clubhouse that residence can utilize for all sorts of fun events! Another awesome perk is the free storage for residence! The surrounding schools have some of the best teachers I've encountered! Lastly but not least, the neighbors are so welcoming and caring. This place definitely felt like home and I definitely recommend it to anyone and all!

We moved into an apartment in 2021, and are very happy that we did. The apartments are everything we hoped they would be, very spacious and quiet. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. They had an end of summer get together for all the residents, food, music and free raffle. You couldn't ask for better management and maintenance, they are on top of everything.

Saw Mill Square Apartments are a perfect place to live. There is a beautiful Club House which includes a gathering place with a pool table, big screen TV, kitchenette, movie theatre and fitness center. Our property manager, Katie works diligently to make sure everything runs smoothly on a daily basis. All the residents speak highly of her kindness, compassion, professionalism and efficiency. We are grateful for everything she does for all the residents here.
Conveniently located with everything you need nearby-Dave’s Market, HomeGoods, Kohl’s, and several restaurants are minutes away. The highway, NK bike path, and Wickford Town Beach are just a few extra nearby perks for living here.
The apartments are spacious with an open floor plan. The grounds are also beautifully maintained.
I highly recommend Saw Mill Square Apartments for an easygoing lifestyle in a friendly community.

I had left my name on a waiting list last year. I wanted a two bed two bath on the 1st floor. I was very impressed with the staff. The apartment that I found was perfect for me. I left a deposit and within a week I was able to finalize the deal with Katie. I get more compliments about how nice the apartment and Club House is. A first class facility.

My wife and I have been residents of Saw Mill Square apartments for about a year. Our apartment is very nice with a great layout. The staff is excellent and very responsive to all our needs. I highly recommend this facility.

I’m in the Navy so naturally I have to move around a lot. Over the course of eight years of moving around to different places, Saw Mill by far is my favorite place that I have lived. Apartments are beautiful, spacious, and the price is perfect. I absolutely love this place. It’s really quiet and the neighbors are friendly. I’m certainly happy!

My time living at Saw Mill Square has come to a close and it was great all the way till the end. I will certainly miss the apartment, the employees, my neighbors, the maintenance crew, and the beautiful complex. I 100% recommend Saw Mill Square and would move back in a heart beat if life should bring me back to this part of the country.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Today I was racially profiled by Jack Bender. The second leasing agent there slammed her door as soon as I walked into the office. I went to the office to see what units were available and to get more information on the apartment. Jack did not want to help me and kept referring me to section 8 apartments. He told me that I should stay somewhere in my budget, even though I told him the prices were in my budget. He refused to give me a tour and refused to provide me any information on the apartment. Overall it was a negative experience and wouldn’t recommend any of my African American friends to waste their money or time here. No one deserves the disrespect I received this morning.

If there is a reward for the misinformation, they would definitely get one, and it would be well - deserved! I was told over the phone that there is an apartment available for me, and I should apply and pay the application fee. I did it. Shortly after paying, I tried to get in touch with the person who advised me to apply. Conveniently, the person was not available. After a while (about 3 days), when I managed to talk to the person who misinformed me about the apartment, I learned that there was never any apartment available. How naïve of me! I said I want my money back, and she said - well, better hold on, maybe there will be an apartment for you. A week later, I managed to lease another apartment elsewhere, meaning I don't need to have my pending application at Saw Mill Square. Hence, I asked to have my money back ($65), and I was told that my application fee is non-refundable. I wonder why all the conversations are recorded for quality insurance if they do not care about what, how, and to whom they say all the rubbish.
BTW- I am in Virginia and had to lease online
