I didn't actually buy a house with Sara but my experience was so great I'm writing this review anyway. I house hunted in Southern Utah and Southern Colorado. Sara helped me navigate at least 7 offers over the course of 6+ months. Her eye for detail and honesty about neighborhoods and houses when you are shopping remotely will absolutely help you find the best property for you. She does an amazing job with video/remote walkthroughs. Sara keeps in touch but doesn't pester. I'm pretty particular and she handled all my nuances with grace. Last but not least, Sara introduced me to my mortgage broker. Even though I ended up buying in Colorado and not Utah, the broker she introduced me too was also able to broker in Colorado and was instrumental in my purchase. Whether buying or selling I'd highly recommend Sara as an expert professional but still down to earth agent which is crucial in this crazy market.

Sara Mortensen was amazing and carries the legacy set forth by her mother who is a real estate legend, yet with her own unique touches. She helped me at a time when I was supremely overwhelmed and a bit nostalgic over the sale of our family home, our first Kanab home. I never had to ask her for help, her offers of help were compassionate, intuitive, and she never complained (I would have). I am so grateful to Sara for taking the lead, all the while being super respectful and exhibiting great emotional intelligence regarding the sensitivities surrounding the sale of our home. Getting ready to put my house on the market last winter was quite the experience.
I sold much of my furniture, put a lot of belongings into storage, and started the process of laying new floor, and painting.
During that undertaking I had been trying to figure out what Real estate agent to hire. A very good friend of mine called and told me of her experience with Sara. I’ve always trusted this person’s opinion, I called Sara and even though my home wasn’t ready to be shown she came right out to take a look.
As I finished the work I was doing Sara ran comps . When I called her back to list the house, the price she came up with was exactly what I had in mind.
The first 2 offers we received backed out as quick as they came. Sara immediately had my home back on the market and being shown. First day another full price offer. We thought thi is the deal that’s going through. Once again after several weeks the deal fell apart.
Sara once again had thing moving forward immediately.
We finally had a deal that worked. There were a couple of hick-ups but it breezed on through.
Although I was not impressed by the buyers agent , Sara stood strong and pushed things along. If by any chance I was to do another real estate deal in Utah, there’s no doubt that I would hire Sara again.

Sara helped us with a condo in Kanab. The best part was we didn’t have our offer accepted the first time. They actually went with someone else and the deal fell through. About a month later she texts me at 9pm on a Saturday to tell us and make sure our offer was ready to go first thing Monday. She worked diligently to make sure everything was done for closing. Would recommend here.
