Sakonnet Farm and Stays - Tiverton, Rhode Island

We stayed at the Samuel Church house this summer of 2022 in early August. It was perfect for our 2 families! The rooms are quite spacious and the house is a perfect combination of old (the beautiful floors) and new (the bathrooms, laundry room and kitchen). The house is clean and organized. There are so many rooms that there is space to read quietly if desired while others are playing a game nearby. There is a great deal of outdoor seating also.

The location is also wonderful. One can quickly walk to Gray's Daily Grind Coffee shop, the Barn restaurant for breakfast, and Simmon's Deli for sandwiches. With young adult children, this was a big win. Several members in our party also biked the 4 miles to nearby Elephant Rock, a beautiful area on water.

The owners (I spoke with Kristin) are very responsive and easy going. Coincidentally, other family members stayed at the Pottersville Rd. house, also owned by them. (This was a family reunion week and we didn't know the properties were "related" ahead of time.) My sister adored the master bedroom there. All in all, I highly recommend staying at this property and other Sakonnet Farm and Stays properties.

Seabury House is an absolutely wonderful home! We had a relaxing visit to Little Compton and really appreciated the cleanliness and organization of the house. It is quite large and has many delightful spots to hang out as a family or get some space! The gardens are absolutely lovely and we all greatly enjoyed watching the bunny family eat for hours in the side yard (visible from the first floor bedrooms), the morning turkeys, and the deer. We travelled with our kids who loved the game table in the basement, the board games and the wide range of children/young adult literature. The kitchen is insanely well stocked and a great space to make all your meals. When not in the home we really enjoyed hiking and trips to Fogland Beach in Tiverton to watch the kite surfers and find sea creatures. This is a great escape!
