Looking for a bit of paradise here on Earth? I found it!

Conveniently located on Johns Island, 15 miles from Charleston South Carolina, Sailor’s Rest offers access to activities and sites on the sea islands and the historic city.

The 2 bedroom 1 bath Airbnb had everything I needed…a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer unit and a private patio with hammock. The grounds are beautiful with paths to walk, a swimming pool, sauna, additional bathroom, outdoor shower and covered beer garden. I explored the tree house and zen garden and dined daily on the courtyard.

It’s a beautiful property to enjoy and relax at.

We stayed here for 10 days for our 10-year wedding anniversary! Ginny and Neil were awesome hosts, they made sure we had everything we needed, including fresh eggs from their chickens! Their place has a infrared sauna and a pool .... Even a fire pit, which we utilized because they left us materials for s'mores!!! The bed was so comfortable that when we got home, we decided we needed to buy a new mattress for our home. Ginny and Neil are special people to us and we even enjoyed visiting their church during our stay. This place was minutes away from historic landmarks and great food! We hope to return soon!

My girlfriends and I stayed at Sailor’s Rest for a girls weekend vacation and we loved it. There is a lot to look at and explore and it’s very tranquil and peaceful in the evening. We loved the pool as well!! Neil and Ginny are very sweet hosts and we really enjoyed our time there.

We had our baby shower here and we could not have found a better venue in Charleston! We had friends and family coming from out of town and wanted somewhere with a “South Carolina vibe.” Earthy, secluded, spacious, absolutely stunning, & affordable. There was more than enough seating/space to accommodate our party of 50 plus people. The layout is set up in sections which allows for small gatherings while still having the feeling of being all together. This was perfect for us as it was a blend of my husband and I’d friends and family. We had food catered and the drop off was so easy! Driveway access to the back for drivers. We opted for the parking included option which allowed our guests to park nearby. There were no issues with directions, how or where to park, and our guests could not stop raving about how amazing our venue was!!!! I highly recommend this spot for airbnb, family getaways, staycations, business trips, baby showers, weddings, gender reveal parties, and more! The owners are also fantastic. So friendly, welcoming, family oriented, and all in all such genuine people 🙂

Awesome Airbnb! Great place to book for you and your friends to relax in a beautiful setting with wonderful amenities. Would even be a great spot for a wedding venue. I highly recommend this place! And the people who run the Airbnb are fantastic to work with!
