Constantly LYING About Service

UPDATE: I emailed John after his response, but never heard back from him. They finally did send someone to empty it shortly after the original review, but never picked it up again. It's been since the middle of January since they've picked up the recycling, and almost April.

They frequently go WEEKS between picking up recycling. It's supposed to be every two weeks, but they'll go a couple of months even if your can is out at the street. Worse, they are supposed to use two trucks for trash and recycling, but they almost always just toss the recycling in with the trash when they DO pick up the recycling.

I am CONSTANTLY lied to by their staff, who are unfriendly at best and usually rude.

I will be attending the city council meetings when the contract comes up for renewal to speak against renewing their contracts. Ryland has been the ABSOLUTE WORST trash company I've dealt with, ever.

These people are the only ones that we could use after a hurricane for an out of town job. They screwed up the delivery ordered weeks in advance, I had to call and get one delivered day of. We wrapped up our job and now I am still getting billed since they didnt pick it up. Beyond frustrating and no way for me to prove that I called it in. Would look elsewhere if you have a chance

This is the most unprofessional group of people at this location that I have ever encountered/interacted with. I had called to make aware of how poorly certain interactions have been and requested that the calls be pulled and listened to/reviewed so that they can see how poorly customers are being treated, only to be advised that they don’t record their calls in a extremely defensive tone. Also beware of the expectations of receiving pickups regularly as well. They OFTEN do not come on designated days. Due to these reasons I canceled my service and moved to a more professional company and requested that they come pickup their can and it’s been almost 2 weeks and they still haven’t picked up. I can’t get a clear answer when calling and requesting a time on when they are coming to get it either. Only get advised “when we can”. I tried to explain that I live in a nice neighborhood and can’t just leave it out there and once again they proved their unprofessionalism by responding that they didn’t care what neighborhood I lived in and told me to keep leaving it out there and hung up on me. I’m at a complete loss on how to handle getting them to come remove their property from my residence and shocked with their unprofessional operating techniques and practices.

Reading some of the other comments,I'm surprised. I've never had any trouble. Even when I've been late with payments. Service in my area is great. Nice men. They don't leave garbage flying around.

For a whole month my trash has not been dumped unless I call and address the issue. I have also been wait on a new trash can for 3 weeks now. I have sent email after email and 5 weeks later this issue still is not fixed. From this day on I will start taking pictures of the trash and trash can out in front of my yard along with date and time on each picture until it's fixed.

It’s the little things! After dealing with Advance Disposal now Waste Management not picking up my waste for a month and having to cancel/get a refund…to having a company pick up when they say will pick up AND also dump the waste that’s been in WM bin for a month really makes my life a little less stressful.

HORRIBLE customer service!!! The trash men complained that my cans were not close enough to the curb. They did not stay on a regular pickup schedule. I was doing Spring cleaning and I had too much trash for one canister. I placed the trash in an extra container and the customer service rep called and woke me up to let me know that they are only scheduled to pick up one container. I was so GLAD to cancel my agreement with this company.

Never pick up trash the day they are scheduled. Driver says he came and didn’t, then management takes his word over customer even though 30 people in one neighbor say driver did not come at all. WTH! Guess we like paying for trash pick up then not using it, sounds totally logical.
