First time home buyer and moving to GA for a position. My loan was not able to be funded by a lender after I paid 10,000 in earnest money to this buyer for the home. After issues arised with income compensation in the funding process by lender I was using. I asked the builders realtor Shelease if atleast half of my deposit if not all could be refunded so that I could reapply after getting some pay stubs to strengthen by buying power. My request was continually and firmly denied without any grace. Only responses were reiterating to contract. I have my own copy so I didn't need her to continue to read it back. I wanted the builder to be asked as they have the final say. I was only given an option to reapply for another home of theirs with a higher purchase price than I was approved for originally and again it was stated that I wouldn't get any money back if not approved again. It didn't make sense to apply for a home out of the original loan pre approved just to make a sale and still cause me to look for a new home after the fact for a third time if not approved. People skills are very necessary in this field and sometimes you should go out your way to help people whether you represent them directly or not as appropriate in a case by case just for good business. Even if it is decided not to assist a possible client, communication should always be of quality with customer service in mind. You can only contact the sales agents or their assistants so there is no other to ask. I will not work with this builder or their representatives again. If you purchase from them and are a new employee call ahead to HR and make sure they can provide what you need for proof of income before sending any money.

Nailheads popping through two months after purchasing. Trim that was to be replaced has still not been replaced. The repair to the sheetrock in the garage was not repaired. The refrigerator has not been working correctly since I closed. Riz Communities realtors' response is that you will have to work through the manufacturer. Riz Community Builders could care less about the little guy.

The owner is suspect of being extremely kind and generous to his employees.....the way things should be...If all businesses were ran this way people would be able to earn a good living and help the unfortunate around themselves...it was a pleasure to meet The man with a great story of coming to the US as a 5yr old immigrant that had to struggle with language and being picked on at school....hats off to him and much more success building an incredible Legacy
