We drove 20 hours to view a property. We were disappointed with it and wanted to see others. Samantha Prueter didn't bat an eye, she showed us two more houses that same night and by the next day we were doing paperwork. She showed us the house we are wanting three times in one day because we kept wanting to focus on different areas. She was super patient with us and did a very good job seeking the information we desired. I recommend her to anyone that wants a low pressure, comfortable home buying experience. My fiancé & I applied for a house through Remax. The realtor reassured us that everything would be ready for us to sign by Tuesday. Not only did they change the date, they also wanted us to switch our electricity BEFORE signing the lease. My fiancé & our child all were sick with a stomach bug or food poisoning & asked if we could sign the lease within the next 2 days. The realtor later contacted us to tell us the “owner” decided to go with someone else. Waste of time & money. We had already planned in advance to have a moving company come to move our items & have someone else come take over our current lease with someone else. Bad business. Would not refer them to anyone.

The realtor actually said the owner had went with someone that he chose. So that makes me wonder if they were giving us the run around because the “owner” already had chosen someone to begin with. Very unprofessional.

Over the past 3-4 weeks, I have contacted a Re/max Agent inquiring about several rental properties they had listed. Not ONCE, even after multiple calls, did I ever receive a call back. It's just polite to return messages, even if you have to say "I'm sorry, it's rented. Perhaps there is another property I can help you with ?" While rentals are often time consuming and not worth the effort for Agents ... here is the important part. I am not a renter, I haven't rented anything except a hotel room in over 30 years. However, when you relocate from out of state with 6 weeks notice, selling your home and buying another that quickly is near impossible. So ... you can believe me when I say, that when my rental is up in 6 mos, 9 mos or 12 mos.. and I am ready to purchase a home in the 250 - 300K range... the very LAST place I will call is Re/Max in Lake Cty, FL. Customer NO SERVICE.
