I am a real estate agent working in the Kiawah Island market for more than 30 years. For years I have been recommending Sean and Megan to my clients for repairs and renovations. Sean and his team are amazing. They have never disappointed. I can rely on him to do what he says he will do when he says it will be done. If he is not able to take care of a job, or fit it into his schedule to meet client deadlines he immediately responds. And Sean goes a step further by recommending a contractor that might be available. His communications from start to end of job are the best in the industry. I never need to chase after him for follow ups.
On a few instances where an immediate need came up for a client of mine, he would jump on it if at all possible.

I would like to write some words of praise for our contractor, Sean Burns, and his business Reliable Property Managers. We had a 100 percent total renovation of our small, one bedroom villa at Mariner's Watch. For us, this was a major endeavor even though they're so many bigger, more luxurious places here on Kiawah. Sean and Patti made our stressful 9 month makeover seamless. Trying to navigate major decisions from 900 miles away took patience, endless emails and phone calls, and skillful suggestions as well as recommendations. So many circumstances beyond builders control effected our remodel. Sean and Patti shielded us as well as kept our interests first. Their team worked together as a well oiled machine. Praises to Reliable! We give them 5 stars!

We have used Reliable Property Managers as our property manager for over 15 years and we could not be happier. We own a beach house that we rent, so we depend on RPM for departure cleanings, inspections, routine maintenance and emergencies.

For us, the face of RPM is Megan Burns, general manager. She couldn't be more helpful or more accommodating! Whether it is your rental calendar, repairs, concerns, etc., she goes out of her way to see that we are pleased. I know that her job must be grueling: especially during the summer season. But when you read Megan's emails or talk to her on the phone, you can picture the smile on her face. She is always pleasant. We have also used their maintenance team for repairs, and they have always been very knowledgeable, efficient and thorough. They do quality work.

But what really sets RPM apart is their personal service. One New Years Eve, we had rental guests arriving and I forgot to notify RPM. Our guests arrived at 4 PM to a dirty villa. I immediately called Megan. She had one last house keeper just finishing up on Seabrook Island and she sent her right over to our villa to clean. This adverted a nightmare situation for us, and once again, instead of getting mad or frustrated or blaming us, Megan just made sure that this problem was solved. My husband and I became fans for life!
