I rented from Red Elephant while in grad school at UA and absolutely loved them! Aprille and Mike are genuine people who always responded to any questions or concerns I had in a timely manner. Maintenance requests were always handled promptly, pest control came regularly to spray, and any workers who came out were always so friendly.

It is very hard to find a good landlord, so I am very fortunate that I found them when I did. Mike is a man of his word and Aprille was always a call or text away. I couldn't recommend Red Elephant Rentals enough!

Joan the property manager takes advantage of college students and their parents. She has illegally kept our security deposit which is for damages only. I'm a full time real estate agent and well versed in leases. Do not rent from or use Red Elephant Rentals.

Red Elephant Rentals will report fraudulent repairs and withholds security deposits from ALL renters. We had a 5 BR unit rented, the condition of which was poor when the girls arrived, and they tried to hold us for repairs and cleaning that was inconsistent with how we left it. $1500 deposits X 5 people were withheld!!! DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!!! We are reporting to them to BBB, and suing them as well. Company's response is bogus, they never called me, never responded to service calls throughout the lease, and promises of things we reported on move-in were not only never addressed, but they tried to hold us accountable for them on departure! Horror show!!!

Had a great experience with our little house in midtown! Joan was the best realtor we've had. If there were any maintenance issues they were quick to fix them. We had no problems with this rental company. Very satisfied!!! Two thumbs up! 🙂

Management was great. Did a very good job of working with me. Didn’t rip me off or try to suck money out of me like most rental properties in Tuscaloosa. Definitely would recommend.
