This is not about selling a house but about community courtesy. I have been walking my dogs and grandson through and around my neighborhood for the past year. There are 2 sets of businesses on each side as you turn onto Carrington Lane. I walk through both business parking lots and on the little sidewalk outside their businesses. The business owners on the left side greet me when they see me and are very cordial. Today when I was walking in the parking lot outside Realty Pros which is the only business on the right side, a gentleman was getting out of his car and said I should not walk in their parking lot or the little sidewalk outside their business. There are never more than 2 cars in this parking lot any time I have walked through and no door has ever opened. It takes me less than 2 minutes to walk through this small parking lot. So, I inquired why and he said it was private property and the door of their business might hit me when someone is coming out if I was walking by? Well, they need to put up a sign that says “Walking Prohibited-Private Property.” Of all the things to worry about in this world, some one points out begrudgingly that I shouldn’t walk in their little parking lot and sidewalk. I, of course, will not walk on their side in the future.
