I am an owner of a property managed by Ravenel Associates. I couldn't help but notice the last couple of reviews have sounded a bit unfavorable by TENANTS. As an owner, I am very pleased with Ravenel Associates, especially the new young Property Manager, and his talent and ability to help co-ownwers identify many unattended to repairs previously overlooked. Ravenel is a professional Professional Management Group guiding the improves at Ashley House and I thank them.

It’s clear that these people simply don’t care, as reflected in their 2.3-star rating at the time of this review. The organization is completely disorganized, outdated, and confused. Our on-site manager consistently ignores residents—emails and phone calls go unanswered, and issues are left unresolved. The trash is constantly overflowing, and there’s absolutely no communication. Units are regularly exceeding habitable temperatures, and despite repeated complaints, nothing is done. Residents frequently break community rules, yet the manager fails to enforce them or take corrective action. I’ve called at least 15 times and left multiple voice messages for Karen Martin, but she has yet to respond.

This company does not care. This place is ran very messy and I haven’t heard a good thing about them from any tenant. It’s obvious by the way they speak to you on the phone. Terrible experiance and would dissuade anyone wanting to associate with them.

Terrible customer service. They are not responsive and the community manager continually "slow rolls" action on fixes unless it's a "critical" issue. For more than a year now, I have been requesting assistance from the HOA to re-sod our tiny front yard which is 90% dirt. After reviewing the covenants, it's clear that grass is covered (and she agrees as does the HOA board). She told me 4 months ago she was getting quotes and I never heard back from her. I started emailing her a month ago and when I email and call it typically takes me 2 to 3 phone calls and multiple emails before I get a response. She finally returned my call 2 weeks ago and said there's no way it can be re-sodded so it will need to be reseeded. Although I'm not happy with the way ahead and it's not in line with the original plan, I'm willing to move forward. She said I'd be hearing from her landscaper shortly regarding the seeding. 2 phone calls and 2 weeks later here I sit, still frustrated with how this has been handled. The only reason I am even giving 2 stars (probably should be 1 star) is because they have been responsive when we had a roof leak and sent someone out the same week. Otherwise I couldn't be more displeased with their poor communication and inability to resolve issues that are clearly within the bylaws and covenants of the community.

If at all possible, stay away from the management group. They are absolutely horrible, rude and you will never get any information from them unless you hire an attorney, which I have had to do.

About a year and half ago there was an attempt to re-seed it, but it failed. Starting 6 months ago I’ve been trying to reach out to the community manager to again address the issue and I’ve received absolutely no response. I’ve sent several emails and called.
I know everyone has been out of sorts with Covid over the last year, but no responses is unacceptable.
