Mixed review. A number of years ago I was a renter and PIS were great! 5 stars! Super responsive to repairs and questions.
In 2024 left a couple voicemails for realtor enquiry and got no response so zero-one stars for that.

I've been a tenant of an Oakland property of Property Investment Services and I've had no complaints. My rent has steadily increased only by the maximum allowable yearly amount. When I need something fixed, it's promptly taken care of. I can get a hold of Kathy, my landlord, efficiently.

These people are absolute garbage. Overcharging for a mediocre apartment with fixtures, appliances and amenities straight from the 1950’s (lead pipes and all) is one thing. Being utterly totalitarian and bandying eviction around like it’s a passive aggressive baton march is another thing entirely. I regret moving into one of their properties, and absolutely will never do so again.
