We have been with the company since 2018. We have leased our current house for almost five years now, renewing the lease four times over. When we first signed on with Progress in 2018, we were told that they trim all trees over eight feet. When we leased our current home in 2019, we were told that again, and reassured that our backyard trees, a mature Mesquite and a mature Eucalyptus, most certainly qualify. To put in context mature Mesquite trees grow to 30 to 50 feet high and mature Eucalyptus trees grow 130 - 180 feet heigh. We have only had these trees trimmed once in our almost five years living at the house. When we submitted a recent request, Progress did a 180, writing "After review our service managers have advised that we will be deferring at this time and this request will be closed. All landscape under 8 feet is considered resident responsibility. Progress may trim trees over 8 feet tall if Progress deems it to be necessary (i.e. the tree is touching the home, the tree is flowering into the pool and clogging filtration system, there is an HOA Violation on the property calling for tree trimming, etc.)." This is NOT what they tell you when you rent a property, so beware before renting with this company. Trimming large trees such as this can cost several hundred dollars. Be sure to plan that into your cost of rent!

I am a new resident but so far I have been amazed at how easy and clear the process is for renting a home through them. I love how I am able to complete every step by myself yet there is an actual person to speak with should I have any questions. I am still in awe at how easy it was to apply, pay the deposit, verify everything and then receiving keys. There aren't a million different steps and a million different documents you need to go bonkers trying to locate for them. Plus no surprise fees. So far so good! Oh and of course the home is beyond super-fab and you couldn't find an apartment for this price.

Do NOT rent with Progress. It’s been three months since our move out and they still have not returned our security deposit. I’ve emailed the customer care email many times notifying them of the issue, requesting an update, requesting an alternative delivery method besides check in mail, and asking why the delays are occurring. The only response I get is to wait another month as they stop and reissue the check. Why are three stop and reissues necessary? Are they even mailing the check at all? What is causing the delays? They haven’t answered any of my questions and refuse to discuss over the phone as previous residents must use their email communication only. It’s very frustrating that I will have to take legal action soon to get our deposit back. Do NOT rent with them.

12/13/2024 the emergency flooding occurred in house 12/16/2024 still no emergency response unit.

1. False advertising: they do not respond to emergencies is 24hours.

2. It has been 72 hours in which my household has been without water - so unable to bathe or use our bathrooms. If not peeing in a bottle, having to find a store that would allow us to use the bathroom. Saturday morning the water outlet in the back yard would not shut off and had pressure that felt like a fire hose

3. This stems from a water issue that I expressed to the company in 2023. A year later a significant leak has been discovered from the lawn watering system that flooded out neighbors back yard out over a years time and now we a discovering a significant spike in our water bill over the last year.

3. Called over 10 times over the course of the weekend to no avail. No one bothered to call us back with updates, etc.

4. Now it’s Monday morning over 72 hours…having to report work…haven’t truly washed CLEANED myself. Embarrassing to know I paying them 2500+ a month on time but can’t get help with a matter that impacts my family.

Russell Moss is one of the most professional technicians you’ll come across. He has a variety of skills and his knowledge base is quite remarkable. Best part is his demeanor. Russell is kind, thoughtful, and quite humorous. Thank you for all the work you’ve done for us Russell. It is greatly appreciated.

Been renting with this company for closing in on 2 years. have been trying to get someone to call me for almost a month about our move out process with no success. I call and have escalation tickets created -- only to have them closed with little to no communication and the problem still not addressed. It is really frustrating experience as a loyal customer. When I call, the team that answers are only allowed to respond to my concern via email (doesn't address concern). was provided a renewal specialist who has not answered phone calls or emails in a month. and Progress is threatening me with additional fees even though they do not apply -- again, something a quick phone call would resolve. I have responded to multiple emails quoting language from progress website and contracts but told that isn't correct. I am trying every avenue to address this but feel as though I am the only one interested at this point.

Vontey has been out for multiple service calls to our property over the years. They are quick to respond to service requests and do a good job. Much better than the previous company handeling requests. Scheduling is typically quick and easy.

Not a good place to rent from! My daughter moved 1000 miles away from home and signed a year lease. In July her ac went out and it took this place a month to get her ac replaced! Putting her in the worst motels repeatedly and didn’t want to decrease her very high rent. Now upon the ending of her lease they are making requirements for her to provide receipts at her expense to have lots of work done that doesn’t need to be done. All my daughter does is work and shower and sleep. The home is in perfect condition. This place is a scam! They definitely do not deliver in the maintenance department!!! Then put you up in the getto when you are paying almost $3000 a month!
