We have been experiencing ongoing issues with the garage gate for several days. It frequently gets stuck and won’t open, causing significant inconvenience and potential safety risks.

Today, my wife was leaving to pick up our daughter from school when she found herself trapped in the garage for 15 minutes with no assistance available. The alarm was blaring the entire time, yet no one came to check what was happening. This occurred in the middle of the day—not during early morning or late-night hours—yet there was no security presence, no one from the office, and no monitoring of the cameras.

With a toddler in the car and another child waiting to be picked up from school, my wife was forced to leave the vehicle and go outside to call me, as the poor cell reception in the garage made it impossible to reach the office.

When I received her text, I immediately made several calls:
• I called Ariel but was routed to a Google Assistant and disconnected after two minutes.
• I called Ryan, but it went to voicemail, which then provided an offsite number.
• I called the offsite number, but the person I spoke with was dismissive. Despite emphasizing the urgency of the issue, I was told this was a security matter and that they could not assist. Instead, I was instructed to contact security.
• I called security, but no one answered.

Eventually, my wife went to the office in person, only to find that the staff was completely unaware of the situation. This raises serious concerns—if no one is monitoring the cameras or responding to calls, what exactly is their role?

What if this had been a true emergency, such as a fire or a medical crisis? Who are we supposed to contact in such situations?

This incident highlights a complete lack of security and assistance, which needs to be addressed immediately. Please let us know how you plan to resolve this issue.

I will always consider PGV to be one of the best apartments to reside. I lived here for 4 years before deciding to move to another city to be close to family. Always a very clean environment, very professional people from the security guys, maintenance, cleaning crew and the leasing office staff - just the best people. The neighbors were all very friendly and respectful. I felt so at home at Pasadena Gateway Villas. It's close walk to the train station, bus lines, shopping, night life, concerts, the Rosebowl, hiking trails, etc.

One of the nicest apartment complexes that I have stayed in. The staff has always been nice to us, say hi when you come in, security guard on 24x7 and has even called us when our car lights didn't turn off in the garage. The property is kept up very well. They just got all new chairs and tables for the outdoor areas and new gym equipment. Maintenance always comes quickly and leaves a note about what they did. I would recommend this complex to my friends.

We had a great experience here. Management is very helpful and responsive. Any time we needed a repair, it would happen right away, never had to wait more.than a few hours and they even fixed our sink on Thanksgiving on year. Pool is nice, lots of dog walk refuse and bags. I knew every security guard name, great folks.

One of the best apartment complexes I've ever stayed at. Service was kind, helpful, and always available. View was amazing. 24 hour pool and hot tub. Walking distance from playhouse district of Pasadena.

If you’re looking for a new home, hopefully you have better luck than I getting in touch. Tried to call several times over the course of a week, left voicemails, tired to do contacts on the website then to finally find a place to request a tour, show up and get turned away by the security guard. God speed.
