Diamond in the rough. Settled right between Monterey and Santa Cruz. Everything about Pajaro Dunes is beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. This resort never fails to impress me and the group that comes with me. We have been coming here since 2012. The townhouses are fully equipped and furnished to accommodate your stay and most are beautifully decorated. Each townhouse that we’ve stayed in has a full oceanfront view as well as a very short walk to the beach. Each visit always provides a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere.

Wonderful getaway destination... Great beach front rentals are available up and down the beach. Spanning 1 1/2 miles of pristine beach, Pajaro Dunes Resort is a secluded, gated community featuring a collection of beautiful beachfront houses, townhomes, and condominiums architected to blend harmoniously with the gently rolling, natural ocean side landscape — available for vacation rentals, conferences and real estate sales.

Excellent spot for a quieter vacation. Even in mid-July it was chilly in the mornings but in the afternoons once the marine layer burned off it was great to be right on the beach. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The gift shop was convenient but super expensive, it's worth driving the 10 minutes to town if you need food or anything. Seems like condos can be hit or miss but ours (S45) was excellent.

Very nice, relaxing resort. The rooms are so close to the beach, with little access bridges to get to the same easily. The common areas could use some renovation, especially for the price of staying there, but still very nice overall. Fun to feed the ducks with the kids at the pond. A whole lot of shells and sand dollars on the beach there.

This is our second time going down here with the kids and it's always a great time. The beach is super clean, large, and safe for the kids to play in. The resort takes care of a lot of things or if there are any problems. We are turning this into an annual trip now. If you're looking for nightlife though, forget it. It's fairly isolated so you need to bring everything with you.
