Let’s see, where do I begin? How about a representative from their office showing up not once, but twice, in the middle of the COVID pandemic without bothering to wear a face mask even though everyone else present did so. I guess he felt a sense of entitlement to expose everyone to his germs.
Even though the management agreement states that I was to be notified if needed repairs went above a certain amount, more than once repairs were done without my prior consent. Twice faucets were replaced without bothering to notify me ahead of time exactly what was being installed into MY property. When I asked them about it, I was told to call the plumber and ask them what they installed.
I received a bill which read “Replace doorknob”. They did not bother to inform me that it was the doorknob to the front door of the house, or bother to send me a copy of the key for the new knob, so I had no access to my own property.
The last people living in the house were not even on the rental agreement. My next-door neighbor filled me in on all the details. Apparently sometimes there were as many as 8 cars parked outside. Garbage was piled up so high it was over the fence line. They left about $5000 worth of damage which I had to pay a large amount out of my pocket to have repaired. Oh, and I received a PG&E bill for almost $200 because someone left the thermostat on after the house was vacant.
Pacific Properties does not do a good job of representing the property owner. They gave me a dose of attitude on more that one occasion when I asked them to do things. They seem more interested in collecting rent than anything else. Unless you live locally and are able do periodic drive by inspections of your property, I would not recommend them as property managers.

My family and I rented from Pacific Properties for three years. Our experience with them was great. The online rent payment and maintenance request are great conveniences for any renter. Any maintenance that had to be done was handled quick and professionally. When we left our apartment, they returned our full deposit. The place we rented prior to renting from Pacific Properties the landlord Joyce and Dawn Hansen (92 Hendley St. Santa Rosa,CA.) They stole our deposit and never returned a dollar. So, we really appreciated when Pacific Properties returned our complete security deposit. Thank you Pacific Properties for being a honest and professional property management company.

Took minimum 3 months to respond to maintenance requests and would often not even fix the issue. Spent an entire week cleaning yard/house/carpet and they still took every single cent from our deposit. Charged us 100 dollars to replace a garage door remote that we returned and they misplaced. Couldn't find a more wretched hive of scum and villany if I tried.

Super shady company in how they conduct applications. They allow applications for 4-5+ people and allow the landlord to cherry pick his or her preference. I had a much better experience with Hills and Homes and Sonoma Marin Property Management, with them when you are the first to apply they don't take any other applications and you find out much quicker if you are approved - very honest and straight forward. It took Pacific Properties 3 weeks to tell me my application was denied with 0 details and before then I already was moved in and rented another place. If I could give negative stars I would. I would recommend to avoid doing any business with them based on my experience.

I had mostly decent neighbors, no real issues with the place, and I got my security deposit back without hassle. I am easy going, so I never had to test how responsive they were to requests/repairs, but the place started out decent enough.

Obtaining a rental in the competitive Sonoma County housing market can be daunting. The Pacific Properties front office staff was very efficient with everything, from processing the application to removing the listing promptly once we obtained it. Once we moved in we received a follow-up call from Adam to inform us about the property details and find out if we had questions. This company is professional and efficient and we highly recommend it.

Currently live in a rental run by them and they seem very unprofessional so far. Took forever to process our applications and now that we live here they’re not responding to any of our emails about maintenance and other stuff. You would think that they would respond in a timely manner and be helpful to their tenants but nope. Very shady :/
