Bob and Roxie helped us buy a house in Tahoe City in 2010. It was a short sale and the transaction went very smoothly and professionally. We ended up getting most of the furniture for only a small amount with Roxie's help. They have also been our property managers since we owned the house. Roxie manages it and does a fabulous job. I trust her completely and also hired her team to sell my other house in Truckee. They sold my house within 30 days. Roxie and Bob are amazing realtors, neighbors, and human beings. We have been fortunate enough to own a vacation home in Dollar Point and live near them. They have supported us whenever we have needed it. They are always willing to bend over backwards to help us out.
We cannot count the times they have lent an extra hand or pair of eyes to help. Bob has plowed our driveway, given us firewood, helped with repairs and even saved our son from a bear scare! Roxie has given us support through advice on interior design, renting our home, as well as numerous referrals in the Tahoe area for upgrades and upkeep of our home. They are both very knowledgeable of the entire Tahoe area since they grew up in the here.
This winter we had a roof leak and they stepped up with keeping an eye out since we weren’t able to be there full time. I can not say enough kind things to describe this amazing duo. You will not be disappointed!

Roxie and Bob have been our property managers for the past 4 years and we could not be happier with their dedication to our rental. Bob/Ormsby Real Estate was fantastic in helping us find our perfect place on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe. After finding a very unique property, It was discovered that the previous owners had done a lot of work without permits. Bob worked diligently with the building department and local contractors that he knows to bring the home into compliance with TRPA and literally saved us hundreds of thousands of dollars off the initial price. Having been raised in Tahoe is a huge bonus as he literally knows everyone. We were so impressed that we purchased a second investment property with Bobs help and have them manage both now. They are perfectly maintained and the revenue is incredible when we are not using. Have referred many friends who have all had equally great experiences.

Roxie helped us buy a home in Carnelian Bay in 2006. We were impressed by her knowledge and skill immediately. After we bought the cabin, we tried renting for a few years but had little success. Roxie agreed to take over the marketing and management of our property, more as a favor than anything else. The results have been phenomenal. Every weekend that we do not choose to use it ourselves, she rents it to guests for us. She manages everything including screening guests, repairs and upgrades, guest interactions, and helping guests during emergency situations such as power outages during snowstorms.
