They cleared our land after a tree fell on our home during Hurricane Helen. Went above and beyond for us. Great communication and worked through shitty weather and got the job done. Great South Carolina local business!

I'm giving a score of 5 because 10 is not available!!I had an old concrete pier supported by carbon steel piping that had been constructed decades ago. One of the supports had corroded all the way through and presented a safety issue. Since all of the remaining supports were installed at the same time, the safest solution was to remove the platform completely, but that was not going to be an easy task to perform. The urgency was magnified by the fact that the water level of the lake had passed its lowest level and this job had to be done quickly. I called Open Door Construction and Sherry answered. After describing my situation above, James and Sherry came out to my property the same day to assess the nature of the job and work required to complete. James even walked into the lake bed to review and we both discussed a game plan for removal. James also noted that this project needed immediate attention due to the lake level and offered an onsite quote. They scheduled me ASAP and honored that schedule. The work performed was EXCELLENT! I couldn't believe the quality of the finished job. The clean up and removal of debris was done efficiently and everything was finished in one day. They were so friendly and helpful. This was not like dealing with a construction company - it was more like dealing with family. I highly recommend Open Door without any hesitation.

Affordable, knowledgeable, would give 10 stars!! Made the dream we had for our pond and our farm a reality. James really cares about every detail being right. He is open and honest with suggestions and ideas. If you are lucky enough to get on James & Sherry’s list you WILL be very satisfied with their work. Our pond is so awesome now-Including the road he built around it. We also will not miss the 28 stumps he removed from around our home!!
