I lived at this property for a while, and while the unit itself was nice, my overall experience was affected by the way I was treated by one of the staff members named Gracie. She was consistently rude and dismissive. Do not Ask a question your confused about twice! I’m a firm believer in treating people with respect, and despite always being polite, she often had an attitude when I asked questions—sometimes refusing to answer or saying things like, “I’m not going to repeat myself.” As a first-time renter, I had questions and just wanted clarification, but instead of being helpful, she made the process unnecessarily difficult.

The worst experience was after I moved out and had a question about my deposit. Gracie told me she wasn’t going to answer my question and hung up in my face. I was shocked. Because of how unhelpful she was, I ended up calling the main office on Figueroa just to avoid dealing with her altogether. Thankfully, the ladies in that office were always kind, helpful, and respectful. They actually listened and made sure my concerns were addressed.

One thing to note is that this management company seems to charge for anything and everything. For example, when my bathroom door got stuck, they charged me $100 for something that took them literally two seconds to fix. I later found the same tool they used for $1, just in case it ever happened again.

Overall, while the unit itself was decent and the office staff on Figueroa and mlk were great, my experience dealing with Gracie was so negative that it really affected my time living there.

I made contact with OPI main office and spoke to Yaritza, this employee was extremely rude and unprofessional her tone was condescending when I asked a question regarding a notice that was placed on the door of the property. This behavior saddens me that I have to do business with a company that mistreats others. I hope that professional training is provided to this individual to keep their business running. Best of luck

Bad service, bad maintenance, the value of the rent is too high for how badly they treat you, people got into stealing from me on several occasions because of my neighbors and no one did anything, the neighbors had a motel there and no matter how much one complains, no one solves anything for you, never rent here!

Pretty good property management company other then the people who answer the phones they will leave you on hold for 30 to 40 mins before just disconnecting you will not take maintenance requests and will ignore the customer calls

Ive been a tenant with this company for almost 3 years, and any problem I've had has been addressed promptly and courteously. The ladies in the main office, Cristina, Myrdle, and Flor always greet me with a smile and always call me by my name, which proves that they care enough about their tenants to remember the small details. They are always polite and very helpful.

I been renting from ocean property for 3 yrs Cristina at the fig office is always nice and polite. I have never had any maintenance issues and when I do I just handle things my self as I prefer to. But I see a lot of comments complaining of there customer service I think if you give them attitude you’ll get that same attitude back because they have never been rude to me. Love my house

I rented a property form them in July 2017. $1700 for a unit worth about $900 -$1000 is stretching it. I payed a plumber 6 times, had a issue with spiders and mold. I was charged the first day of moving in because kitchen sink was clogged. I wont say anything bad about the company as a whole but Employees need to be trained on sensitivity training. Thank God keep my text messages and receipts. I really dont think some of the Owners would approve of the certain issues are being handled. I never even signed a new lease.

Very bad.. I’m very disappointed I take care of my mom and disabled brother my husband and brother have a credit of 700 I have have remarks because I have two credit bills from a childrens hospital and I have a car loan requirements doesn’t require a good credit score I wish I would of read the bad comments before I wasted my money applying. Then when I called flor said she left early Thursday so couldn’t tell me & also came Monday & nothing I had to call & ask or else they won’t call .
