I would not recommend Oakwood homes. We brought a house 2 years ago now the ceiling is cracking, floors are coming up, cabin not even connected to the Ceiling no more. Call see what can be done Doug is the rudest of all and he the manager. Can’t get nothing out of Doug of what we can do. He just answers up on you says he don’t have time deal with it.

Oakwood homes unless they have changed from when I bought my home. There setup is terrible. 6 years in my home and things look terrible. My floors are warping, carpet and linoleum are coming up in areas. Had to crawl under my home to run out a cpvc drain from my water heater and started to notice much more. The belly underlining isn't tacked up and coming loose, instead of properly sealing they just duct taped a lot and that's already coming loose, areas all along the main bedroom area are missing lag bolts that help hold the two sides together, I understand it's a mobile home and they don't have to hold to the same standards as regular homes but you would hope your home would last longer than 6 years. I could definitely keep going but I feel there's no need I took most of the same information to the BBB but got no response. Quality assurance in America has really gone down hill. All I can say is make sure you watch during the set-up to make sure they do a proper job.

After you spend a lot of money and they bring your house they take weeks to put it together. I got the smallest double wide on the lot and they took months on end to build it, I'm not sure why. They don't even keep you up to date on what's going on. get a house off the lot "if you do decide to go with them"and have a lot of patience.

Seems to be a great place to buy a mobile home tony was our sales person just a whole lot of info to take in at one time he also told us some untruth when he gave us the estimate the things that were supposed to be in the package was listed as options we had to pay for we decided to go somewhere else
