Wow. I was a respectful tenant for 4 1/2 years. No damages to the walls or stains on the carpet and yet NWE still managed to take almost my entire deposit for shampooing carpets in a TINY one bedroom apartment and because I missed a few spots cleaning. Not that the economy isn't already tough to live in right now as it is. It should never cost 160 to shampoo carpets or 150 for cleaning. And now after reading other reviews for this company, I will never be renting from them again!

Very poor understanding of people with disabilities and the struggles they go through just to be in safe, affordable housing. Policy and procedure matters more to NWE than humanity. Still dealing with repercussions of an NWE apartment years later. Just realized today that I never really spoke my mind years ago, and I felt ashamed for not doing so. So today I'm leaving a 1 star review in hopes that it deters future renters. Don't put your money into NWE rentals!

Very gross and inconsiderate of other people. By far the worst management I have ever came across, i tried being civil with this lady and try to negotiate but there was no care on her end what so ever, it’s not very manager like. I feel as if there needs to be immediate actions taken on this place, oh and I also forgot to mention I called this place numerous times before showing up and talking in person, over the phone this lady was super rude, as she hung up on me multiple times, and then continued to tell me that there was nothing they can do, so I show up in person and this lady shows no remorse whatsoever, very terrible customer service, and it wasn’t a one time deal this is over a week period of time, multiple calls and multiple conversations later and still, terrible terrible people, this place needs better workers as soon as possible.

I see on here it says for continued resolution contact Hainesway.... well that's the reason for the complaints is the staffing. And they're always messing up the rent receipts by not having them, or this and that. Rude lady. Does not treat ANYONE with any respect or friendliness. So if you see all the negative remarks it is because it is very true! No nèd to contact Hainesway because that's where the problems stem from.

They withheld my security deposit from me for 46 days. I spent 3+ hours cleaning before I moved out of the apartment & no one gave me an answer as to why it took so long. They also came into my apartment unannounced when I was out of town (they forgot to clean off their shoes or shut my lights off the last time.) They took pictures of my apartment before I fully moved out, WELL before inspection day, to say that I left the apartment a mess. Luckily I took pictures & videos which contradicted that, but Maintenance had no reason to be there, so that was sketchy. Todd Hollan won’t return your calls & Lori C is the absolute most unprofessional person I have ever come in contact with. PLEASE don’t make the same mistake I did by renting from them. If you do, document & have proof of EVERYTHING or they will take complete advantage of you.

The others leaving reviews must be very hard to please because I've just moved into one of their properties and they were extremely accommodating as far as getting me in earlier than the required move in date. Had one maintenance issue with the thermostat, called it in @ 11:00 am and a technician arrived less than 4 hours later to fix the problem! If you are a glass half empty type of person you could find fault with anyone but I have nothing to say but 5 Stars all the way for Lori the Property Manager the Maintenance Technicians and the office Staff, they run a very tight ship and the quality shows... Thanks Again!!!

NWE is great as a company and have great employees representing them also. When I needed something done they were quick to respond. My Landlord personally always went out of her way to please and make sure things were done correctly. She was very professional but at the same time such a friendly face always to deal with. Had such a great experience all around. I would recommend NWE to everyone for sure.

Overpriced for what you get. Have had a super loud heater/air conditioner for over a year and was told it's about to go out but they won't replace it until it does. My fiance and kids we're both scared when someone climbed onto our 2nd story deck without giving us notification. When I called Laurie the property manager at Vista Pointe she said the deck isn't technically included in the square footage so they don't have to give notice.... She has also snuck into my apartment when maintenance was changing the filters and I came home asked why she was here because it didn't say anything about an inspection too. She said she was checking washer and dryer I'd tags for rented machines but I own my own and have never rented one so she quickly left. Also called at 440pm and told me they will be showing my apartment twice the next day which if they do show up they will be breaking the 24 hour notice state law.... Would not recommend
