Here we go again. I had this same issue 2 years ago. Had a roof replaced 4 months ago. My insurance company quickly sent me a check for the repairs. I endorsed it and sent it to MSF. Here we are 4 months later , the funds still haven’t been released. The roofing company is now starting the paperwork to put a lien on my home. I have made several calls but all I get is transferred and phone automations. The 1 rep. that I spoke to stated that an inspection would have to be done on my home and I would also need to be present to sign paperwork. I explained that I work remotely and I’m only home on the weekends and that I also have photos of the job before, during, and after the repairs. I was told that this would not be accepted and an inspection had to be done. An inspector reached out to me via text and stated that he’d be in contact with me within 2 to 3 days. Over 1 week goes by and I hadn’t heard back from him so I called. I was told that MSF had cancelled the inspection and they didn’t know why. I’ve been playing phone tag ever since. I had the exact same issue 2 years ago. It literally cost them nothing to release the funds, besides it’s not even their money. The pictures that I have attached are very detailed. I’m not sure why I couldn’t use them. Now the cherry on top, the person I spoke with 3 days ago told me that a new company is now handling my account. I asked her for the number and she gave me the Mortgage Solutions primary phone number. I am lost and confused. It appears that they are too. I would strongly encourage you to find another mortgage company!

My experience with Mortgage solutions Financial and buying my home was truly an amazing and life changing experience for myself and my family! Hannah Fox, my loan officer is the reason why. If I ever was in a foxhole and I needed someone to watch my back Hannah would be this Marines 1st choice.
We started my home buying experience in July of 2024 using my VA benefits. My credit history was definitely going to be a Major challenge but Hannah was positive and reassuring and realistic during the entire process. After a failed attempt and appeal, she does not give up easy, it was determined I needed 3 more months to get to 1 year from my last late payment. She said she would reach out to me in October and to be ready. No lates, payoff any current debts.
Like clock work, the beginning of October she reached out to me and we began this journey again! She was through, always available to answer any and all questions and the ultimate professional guiding me through this process and getting the underwriter what they needed. Keeping me positive and going every time they came back asking for more, more and more documents!
And even once we got the underwriters approval she did not stop there. She communicated with my real estate agent that she didn't want me to pay any fees not even the agents fee and no money at closing. I'm thinking, no way that's goin to happen in this market. But her persistence and skills and working with my agent made it happen!
I would buy 100 houses if and only if Hannah fox was my loan officer, non negotiateable! You have loan officer who is professional, educated, amazing at getting her business done BY ALWAYS looking out for the best interest in her client the veteran.
I originally applied to several big banks for military personnel and got quickly rejected by them without so much as a phone call. Hanana and I talked about my situation and she was honest from the beginning as to what would happen and what I needed to do to make this dream a reality. When she say they(MSF) are looking out for Veterans, never once did I come close to questioning if that were true. Never take her for granted or let her go. Thank you for all you have done for me and my family!
