Excellent! From the beginning to the end the Eric and MCG team was attentive and detailed. Buying a home is stressful, but the team walked me through every step during the process. They were quick to respond to any questions or concerns. It very much felt like they were your partner throughout the process. Imagine you are a married disabled vet and you and your spouse are working on a two year plan to financially position ourselves to purchase our forever home. In May 2024 our landlords contacted us stating that they would not be renewing our current lease expiring on 12/31/24. We were under the impression that we signed a two year lease the year before, but the landlords wanted to sell the property and would not be renewing.
A family member recommended we contact their mortgage broker, Eric Schroeder. Eric had helped them secure a VA loan a few years before. Not knowing what to expect, we found Eric to be extremely kind, patient and a knowledgeable presence that put us at ease. Eric laid out a plan catered to us to paydown our debt and reach a specific number for us to secure VA financing.
In September 2024, we were given our Pre-Approval number so we hit the ground running and stared the fun process of looking for a house. Long story short, after two strikes, we found that the 3rd time is the charm and the mortgage approval process for our VA loan happened inside of a month including the Christmas holiday.
